The hotel is in an excellent location for getting around the central part of Oaxaca de Juarez. There is limited street parking because it is so close the the Zocalo. The staff was very friendly and pleasant.

The noise! Set between 2 bars, there is a lot of noise until very late. I couldn't sleep without wax earplugs.

Just to note that the hotel is located next to two bar. It can get a bit noisy but it can be expected while staying in the bustling old town centre.

Great little hotel at the heart of Oaxaca old town. Very friendly and attentive staff. Very secure and comfortable. Fully enjoyed our stay

They keep the door locked with a padlock at night, I didn't like it that every time I wanted to go out at night I had to wait for someone to come and open the door for me. Not fair on the staff and not fair on the customers.

The shower head was not great. The room was pretty small.

One night we had a bad sewer smell coming from the plumbing but staff was able to address the next day and listened to our concerns. Rooms could use more fans or AC. Room 6 has no windows .

The facilities are basic, and there were lots of insects in the rooms so we got bites. It’s also next to a noisy bar (although honestly it didn’t bother us cause our room was further away from it).

Hotel El Nito was a rustic little place with very friendly staff and a great location. Theres a cute courtyard and the wifi worked well in our room, and the location is perfect for exploring Oaxaca.

- every time you want to go in the hotel you need to wait that someone open you up - you cannot bring someone with you in the hotel, they will ask you for money if you want to even though you paid for the room

- the location next to Zocalo which is the main square of Oaxaca - water bottle in the room - the bed

We were in Oaxaca for day of the dead and the whole town was booked up. This was a great base in a very central location and therefore was perfect for us (a group of three) to leave our stuff and have somewhere to sleep once we had finished partying. The room was basic but excellent value considering what we paid.

With no air conditioning and a window that opened onto an enclosed reception area the room was hot and stuffy As a result sleep quality wasn't great-the fan didn't help much.

The room was clean and serviced daily.The staff were very friendly and helpful-I want to mention Javier especially and also Alejandro and Jennie.The location was very good-a short walk to the Zócalo.

The location of the hotel is very good, a few steps from the main market of Oaxaca. However, this is not of great importance due to the circumstances described.

Unfortunately, our stay was very bad. There is no point in writing about anything else but the most important thing. There is simply no air to breathe in the room, no window, no air conditioning. This made our stay almost traumatic, we couldn't sleep, we couldn't rest. The thought of returning to the room was terrible. The floor fan only made the room noisy and hot, the stuffy air churning over and over again. Until the owner changes this, this place can not be recommended and is to avoid. 2 bars across the wall with loud music making it even more difficult to sleep.

Cockroaches, doorbell going off al night, no drinking water, barely any hot water, small bugs everywhere, pillows sucked, tiny rooms. This place sucks all round. Do not recommend. Great location amazing borderline gay bar next door, great staff….sort of.

Not much.

Good sized room and generous shower room. Always kept spotlessly clean. The central communal area is pleasantly shaded and a nice place to chill out in the afternoon. Located just a couple of minutes walk from both the cathedral square and permanent market. Loads of good eating places again within walking distance.
