Good view of ocean

Way over priced. First room was not acceptable and it was too late in the evening to go elsewhere, so they coerced more money, cash, from us for changing rooms. And then NO hotwater. Booking said breakfast included, but no breakfast was given or offered. Also eerie to stay there because we were the only guests.

Beach, breakfast, owners

The location was phenomenal, the view from the room was beautiful. There was a nice pool and you can walk straight to the beach. The room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. The AC worked great and I slept really well at this location.

The walls were thin, we could hear the upstairs neighbors moving furniture around. The first room they gave us was downstairs right near reception and it did not look like the room I booked online, so we had to pay extra to get moved to the room that I initially booked. I would never have booked a ground floor room without a balcony so I feel the online description is misleading. Breakfast was okay, nothing special, I would recommend trying out the local eateries in Chelem.

We appreciated the balcony and the location. I appreciated the fruit at breakfast.

The room smelled very foul! The water tank is tiny, so expect a cold shower! The bed is extremely soft. The proprietors chastised us for being 4 minutes late for breakfast, and they continued to scold us for the following two mornings even though we weren’t late. The breakfast was disappointing anyway. The beach is really small it’s covered in old seaweed (sargassum) that they don’t bother to clean up.

The bed was very dirty and covered with very soiled pillows and bedspread. Noticeably soiled.

Friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is located right on the sea, so beautiful views. It's open and spacious. Ideal for relaxing, for example by the pool. The area doesn't have much to offer in terms of entertainment and shopping. But there are restaurants and supermarkets nearby. These can be walked to if you want, but using a car (or Uber) may be ideal, although the hotel also offers transportation. The town of Progresso is a 20/25 minute drive.

Excellent location right on beach. Our second storey Deluxe Room was large with incredible balcony views. Kitchenette with everything we needed to make hot sandwiches and enjoy cold beers. Loved the flamingo decor pretty much everywhere :)

Off odor by bathroom sink maybe due to small patch of mold on ceiling - minor annoyance because of spouse's sensitive nose

we ABSOLUTELY loved this place! if you are looking for a place to disconnect this is the place!!!! it’s ran by a family and they were the sweetest people! homemade breakfast every morning. now if you are looking for a 5 star hotel this isn’t the place for you. we noticed a few people complaining about the place. just make sure to read what they offer before coming, like I said we had ZERO problems and loved every minute .
