Air Conditioned a bit chilly but that is North American taste I guess

Exceptional location and exceptional experience for those who really wish to enjoy the visit to Chichen Itzá at their own pace and away from the huddle and bustle of Cancun tour operators. The hotel staff performs world class service in world class premises.

    Nothing!

It’s quiet and spacious. Close to chichen itza. Friendly staff! The restaurant is way beyond my expectations.

There was nothing me and my wife did not liked.

I liked all of the accommodation services, the location, the rooms, the restaurant food and the facility overall. we also felt very secured with the National Guard/army patrolling the place day and night. As soon as we got of the Mayan Train from Cancun an officer offered his guidance and walked us to the exit where the courtesy Shuttle from the hotel picked us up and dropped us at the hotel doors. This has been one of the best hotels I have experienced in Mexico and to top everything even the prices were low for the quality of services and place. Me and my wife felt like in a second Honey Moon we even extended our stay for a couple of nights. I strongly recommend the Tren Maya and their Hotels to all of my friends and relatives. We already have plans to go back with our children and grandchildren ASAP ! Claim your share of the good life in the jungle near the Chiche Itza Pyramids and all of the great nature in Cancun and Yucatan in Mexico.

General reluctance to allow you to charge things to the room. Everyone in the restaurant was staying in the hotel. Everyone was being asked to pay separately for meals rather than charge to the room as you would in most hotels. I couldn’t really understand why. Tarantula crossing warning signs everywhere outside. I’m arachnophobic. But we didn’t see any. Apparently it wasn’t spider season.

Brand new. Lovely rooms. Great pool. Stones throw from the Chichen Itza site. Great pool service for drinks/snacks.
