Super good value for money. The hotel is clean and nicely refurbished, with new mattress and clean towels and bedding. The entrance is not very appealing and made it look a bit sketchy. It is positioned 2 blocks away from the historical center.

Unfortunately I was bitten by bedbugs while staying here, so decided to move to another hotel.

Great location close to the centre. Neighbourhood feels a little sketchy after dark but is lively during the day. Excellent value for money and relatively clean, spatious room with small courtyard.

The white sheets although clean, had mild stains and were worn with the odd hole. The pillows had a faint smell and could have done with replacement. Although I felt safe enough in the day, I was on alert when it was dark approaching the hotel while walking back from the historic centre. Hotel Gallo is a 15 minute walk through dense urban Guadalajara. That said, I was never harassed or felt in danger. I was just an easy to spot white tourist amongst the people of Guadalajara going about there day.

The room was clean and reasonably bright. The bed was comfortable, I liked the courtyard and the feel within the walls of the hotel. Outside, it was an orange wall along a typical urban bario street.

Not the best area, so just make sure you have taxis booked ahead to wait for you. Wasn't the cleanest. Shower pressure was low. Spotty wifi.

Location (one way street) seems a bit ordinary, but it's not far to walk to reasonable spots. Sound does travel from people/staff in the open courtyard below.

Hey this is a fairly basic hotel which delivers what you need. Bed was fine, bathroom OK (water temperature good), and reasonably good lighting. Access to the hotel is through the locked car park, but usually there was no trouble getting in at night. Upstairs room was by stairs only.

The wifi is only in communal areas of the hotel, but the ad doesn't tell you that you won't have internet in the room. The payment is in cash at the check in and it was higher than Booking.com shows so the lady showed her screen including the platform fee which I think the hotel should pay to Booking.com not me. The bathroom doesn't have hooks or shelves, nor a door or curtain in the shower so it could be better.

The location is central in a commercial area so it gets completely empty and a bit dirty outside of business hours. The shower is hot.

The bed was very lumpy. Because of all the concrete and tile it was very noisy whenever people were in the public areas. I haven't seen a towel so old in many years.

The price was great. Staff was friendly. It was close to the central area of the old part of town. The hotel felt very secure and safe.

front dest staff wasn't helpful with my room wifi, but finally I was able to change to another room with wifi.

The hotel is modern and super clean, fresh bedsheets, great maintenance, but the staff at the front dest doesn't speak any English, the first lady wasn't helpful at all, my first room didn't have wifi and she wasn't even trying to make things easy. It's a shame that such nice place with unhelpful front desk staff.

NIce, helpful staff though having a patter of Spanish helps. Comfortable room and bed for the price. Good location, not a long stroll to the centre, buses and metro. Plenty of food around. Area is safe enough.

Well first of all it was way too noisy. People were taling pretty much the whole nigh and phone was ringing somwhere in the main area for the whole night. The room wasn''t clean. Sheets were changed after tge last guest but it was bread crumbs under the sheet! The floor definitely wasn't cleaned too. They were doing some renovation too but the noise wasn't related to the renovation

The location was great. Parking was fine and safe for being in city center and the price was really good. AC was working.
