It was a nice, charming older Merida hotel. There was protected parking , WiFi andnAC. It’s close to the center of town. Staff was wonderful.

I missed not having a fridge.

We enjoyed this place. It was an old place and was probably very grand years ago but it still maintained it's sense of grandeur. It was very clean, relaxing, peaceful and quiet, and easily within walking distance of the main sights. The staff were great, very helpful and obliging. And there was a pool in the middle of the inner courtyard.

Staff very nice and helpful! The one morning we had planned to breakfast at the hotel, it was not available. Other than that the master suite two bedroom and amenities all were good 👍

There wasn't much of a lunch menu-not sure if they are re-doing the kitchen. It's a bit of a walk to many attractions, but the front desk always got a cab for us when we needed one.

The staff was excellent-friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and cooked to order. Beds were comfortable and the room was well cleaned and stocked every day. The grounds are lovely.

Its time for the bed covers to be replaced and invest in new bedding. A new makeover in the rooms would make them more appealing.

The location and parking were very convenient. The grounds and lobby are nice.

Rooms musty. Rooms large but dated.Nobody in dining area so we did not eat here.

Fantastic public spaces with lots of seating. Private quiet pool when we were here.Short walk to sights and lots of food options. Nice to sit in lobby or by the pool after exploring the city.

The bathroom was old and dinghy. Mold around the faucet and the shower curtain. No hot water one night as the wind blew out the pilot on the boiler - the explanation to turn on the shower faucet and let the water run was a joke - ran out ot water! Took over 2 hours before there was hot water.

It was in walking distance to the old city, as well as Paseo Montejo. The rooms were spacious with good lighting.

The old world charm of a world gone by. You can only imagine a time of the Spanish having this hotel as a home. Impressed with the staff and the bed. If we return to Merida it will be to bring some friends to enjoy this amazing place.

Noisy corridors and being able to hear neighbours though wall talking incessently but maybe I was just unlucky. Lack of towels.

we had a very nice deluxe suite. The living room furniture and bar area could have been better arranged and better stocked. There were limited supplies, utensils, plates and flatware

The property is well located. We did have a car and the parking lot is adjacent. Free parking and easy to take the car in or out as needed. New elevator was awesome! quiet, quick, and smooth ride to the fourth floor. excellent and friendly staff. if I return to Merida I would most definitely stay here

It's a little bit pricey by comparison to some others nearby, but really the nice staff and location made up for that. I would recommend staying here.

The location is perfect - very close to the major dining/entertainment areas but tucked away just enough to be very quiet at night. The staff was very accomodating and friendly.

they acctually planned to close the hotel without noticing me. Just luck that I drove by before going to the museum. So that I could get keys

With a little love this place could be fantastic. It has the feeling of not being cared for…the parking lot is a dirty, bumpy very underwhelming introduction, furniture placement in the room is cramped and awkward, no artful touches that could have made all the difference. TVs don’t really work, fridge was left asunder and unplugged in, unstocked minifridge, two bottles of water left for five people…small details that just add up to an overall lack of attention to detail which made this underwhelming. I would say this property is a 3-star. I stay here again, but it’s too bad…with a little investment it could be so much more.

The rooms haven’t been renovated in years and we even had a 🪳 in our bathroom. The food in the restaurant was really bad.

Located in the central area of the city. The inner courtyard was nice and the colonial architecture were kept in a good shape.

The staff...all outstanding. The seating areas with comfortable furniture, abundance of plants and water features. The oversized rooms with a balcony. The location...easy to get to three outstanding parks.
