Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

We had to relocate to another property that the hotel owned due to my wife’s inability to climb stairs due to her injured knee. The hotel accommodated the relocation and provided a ground floor accommodation. We were very pleased with the hotel and have already booked a room for our next trip to Guadalajara. Hotel, Staff, Restaurant and Cleanliness are amazing.

Area was crowded and noisy even at night, so although convenient for walking it was right on a main road. Also there were 2 flights of stairs from the street to hotel so not great for older travelers.
No breakfast available, the room was spacious, clean and staff friendly and helpful. It was located in the city center as stated, a few blocks from major plazas and cathedrals.

There were no previous instructions on how to use the parking lot that is next to the hotel which is free for hotel's guests.

The late night hateful help who could care less that there was no hot water with temp outside at 39 degrees and said they don't turn on hot water until 7 am and my flight was leaving at 730 and she would not make exceptions even left lights out on the double stairway that we had to carry our luggage down to meet the cab making it dangerous to navigate the steps in the dark. This was all around 3am to 5am did not get her name due to minimal lighting.
Great people and located close to town center everything virtually in walking distance. There was great and helpful desk clerks during the day and early evening that I enjoyed talking to and whom directed me to local attractions.

The lights went out informed the receptionist and was informed maintenance would not come in until 2 hrs later. No phone in the room
It was good, but had to climb too many steps with luggage, no elevator

It is on avenue, uncomfortable stairs to access, a lot of noise because we had a room at the entrance by the stairs and obviously we heard everything.

The entrance to the hotel lobby is through stairs; not convenient having to carry your heavy luggage to the lobby. It will be nice to have an elevator. Could not sleep because of the noise in the next room.

The level of noise is so high that interferes with a decent sleep. The windows to the balcony would not close tight and one could hear the street’s noise all through the night.

The room was not up to standard the drains emitted a sewer smell they need to fix that issue. Second the room was near the street and there is no way you can get a good nights rest because you hear cars trucks passing through and everyone who is talking in the lobby no noise insulation at all also we had to ask for towels because they only left one towel for four guest Bookings should not offer this hotel.I must say that the personnel was friendly professional and helpful but the owner of hotel need need to step up to the plate and make there hotel better for the people staying there

The hotel photos did not reflect the property. Floor was dirty. Storage and maintence closet in plain sight. Room super small, closet size. Price did not reflect accomodations.

Only accessible by stairs
Excellent location & the staff made you feel like family! Very nice decor and free bottled water in your room. I had a lovely room with a balcony.
