Location is not the best. It's in a residential area and there's not much around for a good few blocks. 15 minutes walk to the historic centre. Curtains are thin so it's very bright as soon as the sun rises - eye mask needed.

Arrival / self check-in process was simple. Room was fine. AC, mini fridge, nice outdoor sitting area. Quiet and safe area. Well equipped kitchen. Washing machine.

The only thing I'd recommend is that clean towels could have been provided after the second night.

I liked that it felt like I was staying over at a friend's house and not like a common crowded hotel. The residential area was peaceful and quiet.

It was a real oasis. Huge shower. The washing machine was amazing. It was a pleasant stay at an excellent price. Access instructions were clear and easy to follow. We did not spend much time there, but we enjoyed it when we did. The bed was super comfortable with 2 reading lights.

Spiral staircase up to room,not easy with a normal sized suitcase! Location seem a little remote from shops and centre, though we only stayed for one night.

Curtains very thin and don't cover the window fully - light came in every morning and woke us early. AC took a very long time to cool the room down. A little far from the centre but still walkable.

Lovely house, only 5 rooms so you feel as though you have the whole place to yourself. Great terrace outside our room. Big room with good facilities. Extremely comfortable bed. Host was very helpful and informative. It was fantastic to have a free laundry service.

I think they might be selling the property? Everything still worked well but when I arrived, there was a big for sale sign at the door which was confusing and made me wonder if I was even in the right place. The location is also 10+ minutes walking from any cafes or restaurants but it feels like a safe walk even at night so it wasn't a huge problem.

A nice, big room even with a foldable desk that I could use for work! The bed was a little hard but otherwise a comfortable stay. I never met the owner but the check in instructions were easy to follow and they were always super fast to respond to messages.

Some distance from downtown centro, but Liked the co-living vibe here! It’s around the corner from a great coffeehouse called Voltaire’s. Good healthy walk to downtown so conducive to pleasure and healthy movement.

Nothing really but if you like to be in the centre of things this may not be for you. It was about a 10/15 minute walk to the nearest shop and a little further to the restaurants.

Large spacious room, clean with a comfortable bed. The shower was good and hot. Great kitchen facilities and outdoor space. The use of a washing machine and drying rack was an added bonus. Would highly recommend. Very quiet.

Very spacious and clean, nice rooftop terrace to hang out and a well equipped kitchen that was one of the cleanest we have seen during our travel. Another big plus was the water pressure in the shower. Free laundry was available as well!

Absolutely loved staying here. Maurizio was on hand by WhatsApp to answer any questions. We were worried because it was so much cheaper than any other accommodation around and although the rooms are basic, you cannot argue with the price. The shower was great, the air con worked well and the shared facilities (fridge/plates etc) were great. The room was really big too and we used the washing machine to clean our clothes after a week in Mexico. Only a short walk to the more central places in Merida and we walked home (often at 1/2am) and felt super safe.

It’s a peaceful, lovely and clean place: everything works the way it should and we had a really relaxing time there. Staff look after the place really well. The shared kitchen is well organised and spacious. There is not direct contact with staff, but all information needed was forthcoming and easy to communicate.

There were only two channels on the TV because they were constantly cutting out but most of the time we were on our phones so it's no big deal at all

Maurizio the host was professional and very pleasant. He was very responsive and very good to us. It's pretty cool there are two fridges divided by rooms so there is no confusion.

Very good value for money compared to other options in Merida. Good facilities, including the very necessary air conditioning and a shared kitchen for cooking. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

There are some ants in the kitchen area sometimes and we saw a cockroach too. But nothing critical. Still this could be cleared up bu putting some solution in that area permanently and you’ll never see a bug again.

This was the absolute best value for money so far in Mexico in this price range. The property is very clean and the rooms too. Shower works (and has pressure). We also really liked the kitchen where we could cook for ourselves. I recommend this place!

The last day we really struggled with ants - they were everywhere and since the bed was very low (very nice aesthetic) they were all over the sheets. The location was not too bad considering Merida is big but we had to walk 20 mins to the center.

Very spacious room with complete privacy from the rest of the rooms and private bathroom inside, way better than what we expected, the common room was very big as well with a fully equipped kitchen. Access to shared laundry machine too!
