Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesNot any shows or nightlife to speak of. Also, the food was just a little above average for a resort. Restaurants are typically all outside, so...if it's cold or hot outside ...it just is. The room was freezing and called to the front desk. They said all of the rooms are kept at the coldest, so they just sent up more blankets. We had 5 extra blankets on for 4 nights and still froze. The next day, we saw a maintenance man about it. He came straight up and fixed it in 5 minutes.
Loved the property! It was stunning, and the views were truly amazing. Pools were heated decently ( we stayed in early March). Staff was great and very attentive. Rooms are beautiful and very clean. About 15 minutes away from the Marina. Had a massage by the beach and it was also fantastic!!!

United StatesThe bed was very uncomfortable, way too hard. One of the rooms was freezing even with the AC turned off and there was a constant weird sound. The resort was farther from the Marina and downtown than I anticipated.
The pools and jacuzzis were amazing, especially the adults only with a swim up bar. The food was delicious. Staff was friendly. I also loved the amenities in the room, view, and balcony furniture.

United StatesThe beds are very hard which made for poor sleep. The couches, chairs, and pillows were all equally hard as well making being physically comfortable difficult. The specialty restaurants required reservations which were hard to get and then when we got them the restaurants were only half full. They also didn’t allow walk-ins at all. It’s like they were still enforcing social distancing.
Beautiful property with great food and drinks. Loved having a one bedroom suite with plenty of room. Spa was gorgeous. Staff was so nice and always helpful.

United StatesI was dissapointed that there was not a beach to walk on......my impression was when I booked it that it had a private beach. The ocean waves breaking on the rocks were beautiful to look at.....but go somewhere else if you want a beach to walk on and actually get in the water. We had to visit another place to get into the ocean. I was also dissapointed at the term I was given when booking of "all-inclusive". Be prepared to pay more that the set price on booking.com if you want to have access to everything. When I got there I was told that I paid for "basic" all-inclusive and they proceeded to 'x' out the places and restaurants that would not be open to me if I did not pay MORE for "premium" all-inclusive. Also they REALLY push the time-share thing and want you to do a "2-hour" presentation and offer you discounts on excursions if you agree to that. I did not want to waste my time while there to rest to do that. Be prepared also to make reservations for dinner and the places you are allowed to go and if you don't show up they charge you a "no-show" fee. Also some of the restaurants are off-site and you have to take the hotel shuttle to get there. We were not aware that we had to take the shuttle and missed our reservation resulting in a charge for 'no-show'. There were also little tiny flying insects that were all over the bathroom every night. They charge an extra fee for "sanitation" added daily onto my bill; around $5 a day. They could at least spray for insects when they "santitize" the room. Get ready to be charged extra in addition to what the price quoted is. This is the reason they won't let you pay ahead of time, they want you to upgrade to a true "all-inclusive" that includes the spa, a luxury pool, and some of the restaurants.
The grounds were beautiful and the architecture unbelieveable. There was art and opulence everywhere you looked. The infinity pools were lovely. Food was good. It is such a huge complex that you must take a golf-cart everywhere even to the lobby.

United StatesThe rate for each night was very high, considering that the rooms are not updated. The style of the resort is nice, but some things could be updated. Drinks, food and water onsite was very overpriced!
Property was well maintained and clean, and the pools were lovely. There were good facilities for outdoor activities and the gym was good. The staff who we interacted with were amazing. So kind and polite and genuine. The “adults” pool was nice and quiet and the views there are so nice.

United StatesChicken mole was 2 skinny drumsticks with a jar of mole sauce poured over for >$36 plus 30% tax. I feel badly for staff hoping for an additional tip when food is so overpriced. Staff play loud music and sort silverware in the dining room of the ‘upscale restaurant Trajeneros’. I had to ask him to please sort it in the kitchen after 15 minutes of nonstop noise. Plates of food left in the hallways for more than 2 days. I called and asked wait staff and housekeeping to please remove the plates near the elevator because of bugs.
Relatively quiet and good location. Nice landscaping and nice views if you can secure a room with a view. Staff are often hostile at check- in and not helpful or friendly. Prices at the 3 restaurants are very high and then they add 30% on top for tax and service. This makes the very mediocre food outrageously expensive. A small decaf coffee in the ‘always empty’ coffee shop was $8 and tasted burned and horrible. Our family lives in Cabo so we’ve stayed at many hotels, condos and resorts and never experienced this type of price gouging. I really feel sorry for families with small children and no car. Taxis are very expensive and they do not allow Uber on the property. This is a financial agreement with the taxi union. The golf cart drivers are THE BEST!! Hard working, helpful and wonderfully friendly. Housekeeping staff are also very competent.

United StatesThe check-in staff are horrible. I booked a luxury suite but had to demand that I be assigned to the room I booked upon check-in at 8:30 pm. He was rude, confrontational and insulting as he tried to give me an obstructed view small room when it was clear that was NOT what I booked 7 months ago on June 3 when I stayed at the resort previously. The resort was NOT full, it was not even half full. I was staying for 7 nights and paying more than $2,200 for the week but had to fight to be given a room with a view of the water. The prices at the restaurants, coffee shops and tiendas are outrageous. Plus, they add 30% to your bill for tax and service so a $26 cheese quesadilla quickly becomes $34. Soda is $8 before tax. Quality??Chicken Mole was 2 tiny drumsticks with skin and bones covered in mole sauce for $38 + 30% tax (over $50). The filet mignon was acceptable but very expensive and tiny. With all of the fabulous resorts and condos in Cabo San Lucas, this resort is obviously trying to gouge the few customers who stay here. We’ve been coming to Cabo for more than 15 years and have never experienced the price gouging for poor quality food that we had here. We ate off location for 6 days.
The location is great. The property is quite pretty in places. The bell staff on the golf carts are great.

United StatesI have to get out one night before Because the pillows were making me allergy. They explained me was because of the wind... yjey refused to use their own transportation to give me a ride to a different hotel. They didn't find a different hotel for me BTW. Tje manager wasn't professional and they justbtold me to talk with booking to have some money back. Every night was imposible for me to sleep because the bas smell of humidity in the pillows. Bad treatment from the receptionist and the manager. For those type in hotels they are usually very professional and they always try to compensate in some way.
The art, the location, the service people and the views. Lovely place to visit

United StatesThe real estate/time share was imposing, deceitful and time consuming. Not a good first impression. It was not as described - it was not a tour, the presentation was more than 60-90 minutes (entire time was 4 hours).

United StatesI did not like the check in process nothing.was explained clearly but buying all inclusive. We didn't understand where and who to.reserve dinner reservations. Didn't know when to call to reserve from.what time to what time? Confused about transportation.from airport and returning. I have never been in cabo so was trying to figure things out quickly. I think.upon.reserving there could have been transportation options told to.use with shuttle, ubrr and taxi.
The facility was very clean and beautiful. So nice no reason to leave while on site you have everything you need.

AustraliaOnly things we didn’t appreciate was 1) no free water in rooms and charged 7 USD for a bottle out of the fridge (note, no information in room about drinks cost so was only a nice ‘surprise’ on check out), scandalous given that other “cheaper hotels” we stayed in across southern Baja always provided clean drinking water. It is penny pinching in the wrong area 2) layout of hotel and heat in June means you rely of golf caddies to move around, considering that it is a necessity I don’t think guests should be obligated to tip every single ride.
1- Perfect location overlooking the ocean, interior decoration tastefully showcasing Mexican colours & style against classical wooden furniture. 2- Adults only pool section had the most stunning view out towards the coastline, incredibly relaxing watching and listening to the waves crashing 4- We ate at the Italian pizza place and appreciated the gorgeous view again. 5 - Staff were friendly and made the stay enjoyable. 6 - Room with ocean view is a must, was the center piece of our stay with balcony overlooking the Pacific with view towards Cabo

United Statesit was our first time- if we went again we’d probably stay in San Jose rather than in the corridor. you’re in a resort/ behind a gate - we wanted to explore and they prohibit Ubers from picking you up at the lobby so it’s a bit awkward to get in and out of the hotel (there are taxis but that requires cash and is easily twice the price). we made it work (and you can take Ubers back to the hotel no problem).
great pools, some decent food - including an excellent parfait at the juice bar.
