Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe food buffets and snack bars are very poor quality with very limited healthy options. There should be more healthy options with less processed food, low sugar, etc.
The room was big and comfortable, the gym and fitness activities were great, the pools were great and the service was excellent

NigeriaDrinks seems tailored mostly for people who drink alcohol, and there weren’t a lot of fresh juice/smoothie options. Only at breakfast, and this was always watered down.
The property itself is beautiful and you never get bored or run out of things to do.

United KingdomVery little to complain about, the only problem we faced was on the first night we hadn't booked a restaurant for dinner and didn't know how to do that. So I think if they make that clear for people when they arrive that they have to go to a separate desk to book the restaurants that would be good.
Such an amazing place, every single staff member was absolutely lovely. They all went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time with everything we needed. Around the pool the service was amazing, so fast and polite. We were also really impressed with the food, so many options and all really nice. Again the staff in every restaurant were so lovely, at breakfast our waiter would always bring us extra mimosas. When we wanted to go get a taxi, the staff at the front were extremely helpful and organised it with a pick up within 10 minutes. Honestly such a lovely place, the beach is really nice, the pools are lovely and the restaurants are great. So impressed, had an amazing time would definitely recommend!!

SlovakiaHalf of our stay was horrible we couldn’t really sleep because of very loud drunk people screaming, listening to music and singing very loud during the night as they were going from the bar to rooms. So maybe there should be some hotel staff at the times when they close the bar and watch out that they are not disrupting (other guests which want to sleep and came to vacation to rest not party) during the night. Not everybody could speak English, we called room service and they didn’t understand what we wanted to order. When we arrived we asked about information about breakfast, lunch and dinner, but the staff on the reception gave us misleading information so we just had to find out ourselves. The food could be seasoned, it was most of the time without salt or any flavor. It wasn’t bad or good, it was neutral. But salt would for sure help! Or at least salt on the tables so everybody can salt it how they want. Churros was VERY BAD! The guy there was making fresh ones but he gave us the old ones which he had there. Doesn’t make sense why is he doing fresh ones when there was nobody except for us! It would be much better if he would do always fresh ones for everybody. Because they are just not good anymore and they are dry when they are standing there few hours.
The staff was very nice, always came to fill up the water and took care of guests. Very good staff in Seasalt pool bar, especially one guy who’s taking orders from people laying next to the pool. He was always in a good mood. Hilton has multiple pools which is very nice, because if one is full you can just go to other one. There was big variety of food, you could always find something. Rooms are very beautiful. Lots of activities also on the rainy days. Very beautiful enviroment with lot of trees.

MexicoOne of the Buffet restaurant was closed for 3 days because of a private event and we had to do long lines in the other one to get breakfast. Service at the pool was very poor. We had to chase waiters around to get a drink. Breakfast buffet was pretty good, lunch was alright, from all the restaurants for dinner only Auma was excellent, both Luce and Maxal were below average.
Beautiful pools, very comfortable beds, easy to move around the big resort with the golf carts, lots of entertainment for the kids, the Auma restaurant was great.

MexicoThe room that we paid for didn't have a view, we opened the big window and faced a lot of "nature" I mean, we couldn't see anything. Maybe just describe the room as "no view"
The location was exclusive, private beach and a lot of pools. The desserts in the restaurants were delicious and what makes the big difference between other all inclusive that we visited was the staff, very kind and helpful

United KingdomI hate to say this, as this hotel would be flawless if the food was abit better :(, minus sea salt and la Luz, the buffet options are limited and taste bland/low quality. Honestly if the food was better and of Hilton quality standard the stay would have been a 10/10 because honestly the hotel is absolutely stunning.
Incredible aesthetics. The hotel could not be more beautiful if it tried. Incredible views, beautiful rooms and really comfy beds and really clean everywhere. The staff are super friendly: on check in we got moved from casa 4 to casa 2 which as 2 adults was great to be nearer the main hotel (kids area is more casa 6 where the buffet is). If you want to walk to the main hotel from casa 2 it’s fast but to casa 6 is about 10 minutes which feels a lot in that heat. But we never had to walk the full way, a buggy always offered to pick us up on route. Also lots of separate pools for different vibes, party pools, quiet pools and kid pools. Lovely shop on site and the 24/7 cafe is great. The staff are super welcoming. The sea salt bar in casa 2 is my favourite place to eat and the la luz Italian restaurant.

CanadaIf you are visiting the resort, beware the beach is not great. They have many places set up to lounge on it, but for swimming there are many rocks and seaweed. We prefer the pool and laying down anyways, so this wasn’t a big turn off for us. On a small note, only the Enclave guests are provided with robes in their room. It definitely would have been nice after showering to have one, but that is just me being picky.
The Hilton Tulum was absolutely beautiful. I went with my sister for a girls trip and it was truly a relaxing time (we are 19 and 21). We lounged by the pool each day, made use of the fitness centre, and did aqua aerobics every afternoon. We spent a lot of time at the main pools, where one is more reserved, and the other for socializing. So there are options for everyone! The property has 4 restaurants, in which we did the Mexican, steak house and Japanese. The service was on point and we enjoyed the food very much. The buffet had a range of choices and was never overcrowded. The entertainment at night consisted of dancing which we loved, but with the rain we sadly only experienced it 2 out of 4 of our nights there. The property itself is stunning and large. Our room in particular was very clean and well taken care of. The architecture and detail is very impressive, making it the perfect place to take lots of photos.

United StatesAnyone staying here needs to be fully aware.....this resort is isolated a few miles from the town of Tulum. If you wish to go ANYWHERE outside the resort, you'll need to either taxi or be involved in a tour. The resort is literally stuck out on the coast, with no civilization around it. In addition, the beach at this resort is VERY limited. There's a small beach swimming area at the main building, but the rest of the beach line is inaccessible volcanic rock. Bottom line.....this is a superb facility, but you're pretty much a captive audience unless you arrange transportation everywhere you go.
The Tulum Hilton is new, and the rooms are super-nice. The staff is very attentive, and there is abundant wildlife all around the resort (iguanas, Coatimundi, lizards.) Really GREAT pool areas.

United StatesAfter the first few hours of bliss you will be startled be the amount of mosquitoes and how aggressive they are. PACK OFF &USE IT!!!! I had to pay 25$ for one can. Also they were very stingy with the Don Julio Rep. I was quoted a different price for the bottle every day. Dont use the transportation service the suggest they also overcharge DRASTICALLY. I had to find my own transportation and excursions (which ended up being hundreds of dollars cheaper) for this reason.
At first glance the hotel is beautiful. Most of the staff is wonderful.

Saudi Arabia- No “all-day” buffet as expected - Kids water slides not working 2/5 days - Non-existent beach due to sargassum - Unapologetic staff when enquiring - Far from a highly underdeveloped town - $150 for an, unexperienced, Dr visit on site After contacting Hilton on “X”, the manager contacted us and said his management wanted to hear the details and make amends. Never heard back after, but he suggested us we complained online so his own management knew about it.
- Fantastic, completely unexpected, shows - Great restaurants, with amazing dishes - Good kids club, very attentive

United StatesI requested an oceanfront room. I received the oceanfront room, however, there were two big dumpsters right in front of my balcony. There was lots of dirt and rocks and the view was just disappointing. As much as the Hilton costs and as reputable as the Hilton is, there should be no reason why you are allowing guests to occupy those rooms when the property does not appear to be fully renovated. Another issue which was the main issue, one of the housekeeping staff stole some of our belongings from perfume/cologne to designer sunglasses.
I liked the Asian Restaurant, Noriku Teppanyaki.
