We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

MexicoWell, their listing claims to be "pet friendly" - but they charged us 500 pesos ($29.00 USD) - one dog - one night - that's about half the cost of an extra room. (and I was already paying for 2 rooms) Pretty high charge for supposedly "pet friendly" and higher than other hotels nearby. We frequently stay in Guadalajara and always travel with our dog. Hilton (for example) doesn't charge anything. So, that changes the value proposition. Their property is 100% paved. There is no green area for pets. Booking sent me a message at time of reservation, saying the hotel would charge my credit card, PRIOR to my stay. However, when I got to the hotel, they wanted (insisted) on charging my card, at check-in. I have been double-billed before, and it is a 3 month hassle of phone calls and emails to get it straightened out. I don't know whether the error was the hotel's or Booking's, but that's an annoyance that we don't need. Access to the hotel (its new) is really difficult. Its entry is right off a highway on/off ramp and Google maps wont get you there. Its somewhat dangerous for drivers. From the Hwy 15 northbound, you have to cut across the merging off/on ramp (2 hi-speed lanes) and stop on a dime to enter. That's unfortunate and as an engineer, I'm surprised that got permitted. But all in all, with some improvements, it could be a good place to stay. I didn't try the breakfast. It looked OK with several choices of hot items. Chilaquiles, scrambled eggs, some basics. We will try them again, in the future and see if it gets better.
The hotel is very new - just a few weeks old in March 2023. I think that accounts for some of the hiccups. Its modern and generally comfortable. It is clean and the wifi worked.
