secure, helpful staff!

the TV was outdated with cable, would be nice to have a smart tv like other locations so that we could use Netflix instead of local cable. also the elevator was a little suspicious.

The buffet breakfast was great with a variety of dishes daily. The hotel still looks on the newer side. Housekeeping did an excellent job cleaning our room daily as well as keeping the hotel grounds looking nice. Having a pool is a big plus when you are traveling with kids. The pool was a great size and conveniently close to the restaurant. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The location was good enough and worked for us, with a shopping center within walking distance and about a $4 taxi ride to the center.

Many things. The majority of the staff looked miserable and were not friendly. There was only one working elevator (the other was not fixed throughout the 11 days we were there). The card keys no matter where we placed them (away from credit cards, cell phones, etc) would stop working just about every time we exited and needed entry into our room. On one of the many times that my husband ran (because waiting for the elevator to become available took longer) down stairs to the lobby and ask that the room card be reactivated, he left a case of waters outside of our room. When he came back up they were gone and had been stolen. The room walls were thin and conversations outside were heard clearly inside of our room. Their amenities felt scarce. I had to request for clean towels, shower soap and toilet paper. A reasonably priced shuttle service was expected considering this hotel is not in the best location. Instead we were quoted 3xs more than the taxis for a drive to the centro. It's no wonder that I never saw it used once throughout my stay. We were there during Semana Santa when hotel prices are at their highest which is understandable, but even then I did not think the room rate was a good value for what we got. I overheard another hotel guest say she was surprised by the low price during the season so maybe prices differ for foreigners versus non. This review is based solely on our family's experience. The stay was disappointing and overpriced even for the season. This hotel definitely does not meet Holiday Inn standards.

Every space was exceptional clean. Room was very comfortable.

Some staff members were rude specially 2 gentlemen in the pool area.

Great staff, well managed hotel. Good bed with wonderful sheets. Plenty hot water. Good breakfast. Nice restaurant. Very quiet.

Room was not very big. It would be snug with two people with medium sized suitcases. Hotel did not have suites.
