Very VERY basic rooms. A lot could be done to make this place more inviting. It seemed like we were a bit of an inconvenience… maybe we were with our lack of Spanish speaking abilities… but we are still paying customers so more could be done to make us feel welcomed.

There were not a lot of options in Homun… this place was Not particularly clean or well kept rooms, no hot water, no soaps/shampoo, no blankets, no drinking water. Had trouble with A/C and running water, had to move rooms twice, which is not a problem but just indicative of general ‘run down’ atmosphere of the place.

On arrival we were warmly greeted by staff. Although she had limited english she made sure we knew how to access gate on arrival and leaving the premises.

air conditioner was leaking and we needed to put a bucket under it to catch the water.

we had an amazing stay at this hotel. It was conveniently located in the center of homún and super super clean. There are sinks with soap and water in multiple locations, and the room was immaculate and comfortable. There is air conditioning, a nice shower, Super helpful, bilingual staff, and they even offer a room with three beds, which was great for my family. we ate at two delicious restaurants within walking distance from the hotel (Santa Fe for breakfast and mama Bella for lunch). Great location, great price, great staff. and they have a pool!

I liked the owner Sandra who was very pleasant and looked after our needs very well, although she was a bit abrupt and started our visit by reciting all the rules instead of welcoming us. There is a good pool but it doesn't open until 12 noon.

No breakfast or restaurant on site. They will make you coffee but will charge 30 pesos! The pool doesn't open until 12 and check out time is earlier than that so you can't get a morning swim before heading out for the day.

The staff were incredibly kind. The owner lent me his personal bicycle which absolutely made my trip because I could ride around to cenotes. He was completely trusting which was so nice

    I couldn’t stay longer

Easygoing and helpful host, early check in.

Power outage during rainstorm, but that was not the hosts fault at all - the whole town lost power.

Frequent power outages ( not their fault) but no generator backup. No breakfast or coffee and no water provided.

The room was large, and comfortable. The location is outstanding if you're in the area to enjoy the cenotes (there are at least 15-20 within a three-mile radius of the town. The owners are friendly and helpful. The internet signal was strong and reliable. We were able to use a large refrigerator located near the front desk to store our food and drinks. It's a very secure, safe place.

We liked everything about the property, although we were surprised and disappointed to discover that almost all the restaurants in town are quite expensive, and the quality of the meals didn't match the price. One notable exception is a taqueria which is next door, but doesn't serve breakfast or lunch (it opens everyday around 7:00 pm). There are also some inexpensive eating options on the main square from stands that operate all day. One evening we bought tamales from a lady selling them out of her front door. They were very good and quite affordable. I don't recommend any restaurants in Homún except the taqueria next door to the hotel.
