Nothing I didn't like.

I had an amazing stay at this hostel! The location is great, close to two beaches and only 20 minutes by collectivo to La Punta. The pool is the social heart of the hostel and made it easy to meet people from all over the world. The staff were super helpful and created a really good, fun vibe. I originally planned a short stay but ended up extending twice because I loved it so much. The mix of ages was a big plus for me — as someone in my 30s I felt very comfortable and welcomed. Overall, this hostel has the perfect combination of great amenities, a friendly atmosphere, and the best people. Would definitely come back❤️❤️

Really nice place with a pool, nice rooms with nice soaps. Really friendly staff and a nice cafe attached. The pan de elote was 10/10 :)

It was the best Hostel I have been so far. At the beginning I just booked for one night but I extended 4 times so I stayed for 9 nights. The Hostel has everything you might need and has a great vibe. Also the people that work there are really nice.

Nothing, loved it all!

We loved everything about this stay, we ended up coming back and staying for 6 more nights. Very welcoming and helpful staff, Jésus was very friendly and kind to us. The room was very comfortable and affordable. The hostel had everything you could want and the common areas were very clean and well-kept. Would highly recommend! Very good location, more relaxed and lovely food and bakeries nearby.

The place was excellent. The only thing I didn't like so much is that every room doesn't have its own bathroom, it has a restroom for all the hostel, but the restroom is always clean. This comment is only an improvement the hostel could do, but in the end I am very satisfied and glad by staying in Casa Losodeli.

Everything was extraordinary, notably the staff who were always in great spirits and a delight to work with and interact with. It is essential to keep your staff happy and hope that management is attentive to this as the staff truly made the place come alive. From the ever-helped reception staff, to the kind and hard-worker cleaners, to the staff who stopped by the bar to socialize and teach me about mexico.

Had a hard time booking a scooter through reception. So ended up using the free rental bikes which are definitely not made for 1,80 meter people, but thats a minor thing!

This hostel was probably the reason why I liked staying in Puerto Escondido - easygoing space, not too much going on, so it's great for working - but enough that you can meet people there. The staff is super friendly, especially Jesus is a gem. The volunteers at the place did a great job at trying to drum up people for social events, though many were doing their own things.

Not the cheapest in Puerto Escondido

Great vibe, spacious room, drinks on the rooftop: small party, 10 minutes from the beach, nice people who come together to work. We only stayed one night, but it seemed the others had really formed a connection

Our room faced the highway which was a bit noisy at night. However we like to sleep with windows open and we probably wouldn’t notice if air conditioning was on.

The location is excellent! It’s quieter than other areas of town. There are lots of great restaurants nearby- some upscale, some simple. We loved Playa Carrizalillo for swimming and it is within walking distance.

Loved the pool and the convenient location near beaches, markets, and public transportation. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Having a kitchenette was a great bonus for making breakfast and reheating leftovers. Would definitely stay again!

The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. The building is next to the main road so it can get noisy but this didn’t impact our stay since we sleep with earplugs.

Losodeli had amazing WiFi making my work video calls seamless. The downstairs cafe is very good - fresh smoothies and delicious food! The swimming pool is well kept. There’re daily activities in addition to day trips; we took advantage of the bioluminescence tour! The staff is super friendly and helpful. We met some cool people. I highly recommend!

There wasn't much I didn't like. I learned to go with the flow - for example, there were elections during my time there, so sometimes there was music outside, or speeches being given, or like the last night, a party in the courtyard. I could have been bothered by the noise, but I ended up going down to the party and actually having a great time! When I stayed in the two bedroom apartment, it would have been nice to have curtains on the back door so I could see outside without having to have the actual door open. All very minor and nothing that would keep me from returning.

I LOVED my stay at Casa Losodeli. I stayed for almost three weeks and have felt so welcome - met amazing people, and the volunteers and staff are outstanding. The rooms are basic and clean (I stayed in four different room types during my time at Losodeli). Jesus, Diego, and Adrianna were always so much help - and I loved the activities they planned each night. The wifi was reliable with the exception of one day, which was huge for me since I'm working remotely. The location was great - walking distance to so many beaches and a 15 min drive to La Punta. I also rented a scooter for about two weeks which made getting around even easier. I'd totally come back here to stay! In fact, I will be back!

Fantastic place. Pool, nice rooms, cafe, coworking. Wifi works great everywhere with up to 300 MBit/s (30 MB/s 🤯 ⚡️) for up- and download. A digital nomads dream but also great for any backpacker 🙂

Had a great stay at this hostel in a private room. The hostel is within walking distance from a great beach and several nice restaurants and cafes. I got good service from the staff, and they also helped be book a great tour. I also attended some of the activities the hostel arranged, which was a nice way to meet fellow travellers. The hostel was quiet and comfortable, and I would absolutely recommend to stay here.

The fridge in the communal kitchen was disgusting! It smelt horrible and it wasn’t very cold, which made you not want to store food in there. They have plenty of staff and live in volunteers who should be clearing out old food regularly. For how much we paid per night I wish they provided beach towels and a hair dryer.

The room was large. Nice to have a pool. Close walk to Rinconda and nearby small swimming beaches. Close walk to big grocery store. Not a heap of restaurants around but a 150 peso taxi gets you to La Punta with heaps of dining options.
