The location is great! The owner is super nice and will make you fell at home. The price is amazing! The place is always clean and it’s also very comfortable, with air conditioning in the rooms.

The hostel ans the beds are super clean, quiet and comfortable There’s great AC There’s a water fountain to refill your bottles The kitchen is well equipped Pepe is very nice and gave us great recommendations for Merida & Uxmal Quiet & safe neighbourhood 20ish minutes by foot to ADO from which you can go to Uxmal 20 mins from the Collectivos to Izamal

Sometimes the wifi was a little spotty.

The owner of the property is such a gem. He's really kind, and very knowledgeable (you can ask him anything about the city, and he'd probably know). The hostel is also smaller, so it feels really homey. The aircon in the rooms is also pretty powerful, which is great because it's so hot out there. And you're close enough to the main square that access to things is really easy; but the actual hostel is in a quieter part of town.

Pepe is amazing at his job, the people I met there were also awesome! Easy walk to hit the transportation to Playa Progresso, was there everyday!

Wish I could have stayed longer!

Location is amazing. Close to everything. Easy to get bus anywhere, including the airport. But Uber is pretty cheap. I arrived in the middle of the night. It wasn't an issue. The host sent me check in details in advance and I got to my bed fine. Rooms are very comfortable, with locker space under the beds and padlocks available upon request. Laundry was done quickly and easily for a reasonable price. I didn't use the kitchen except to cut up some fruit I got from the market. The fridge has lots of space. Having drinking water to refill your bottle is great and saves so much plastic. The host is very kind and professional.

We had a very comfortable stay! The private room is quite spacious and they have airconditioning. Soap and shampoo are provided in the bathroom. There is a kitchen and a garden to use. Also there is an opportunity to do laundry. I really recommend this place, it’s 10/15 mins walk to the centre and the price is very reasonable. The owners are very kind and helpful.

The hostel is spotless as to cleanliness, kitchen is functional, beds are with thick matresses and AC to your liking. Walking distance from the center on an easy street. The owner is very relaxed and courteous gentleman.

Really nice place, clean, new, quiet.The female dorm is perfect with bathroom inside and AC. There is a kitchen and water available. The owner is nice and helpful.

Just a suggestion maybe a chair to sit down in the women's dorm room. To put your shoes on for us older ladies.

Pepe the host was wonderful. The hostal itself is a great setup. It's not large. They offer towels for free which I find very different ...most charge for towels so that was a plus. I will be staying here again. PS the pillows and the sheets were fabulous! Overall it was a wonderful stay. Thank you Pepe

Was 10 bucks more in arrival than booking.com quoted. I don't think this was the fault of hostel though. More like booking.com messing up. Either way the room was great and pepe the host was lovely
