The bed badly needs an upgrade. My partner and I could feel the springs and led to a lot of tossing and turning during the night and waking up sore. Simple fix and this place would be no doubt a top reviewed stay.

Loved the location, it was quiet and close to everything. We were given a simple breakfast each morning which was unexpected. The courtyard was super nice to relax in as well.

One of the two beds we had was a bit springy, but otherwise it was a great experience and we'd definitely stay there again.

Our room was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. A simple breakfast was prepared for us, and the accommodation was very clean. I think we were the only guests, but we enjoyed the peace and quiet. It's in a wonderful location and feels very safe and secluded away from the hustle and bustle.

The only downside is the poor quality of the mattress, but this may depend on the bedroom.

Excellent location near the center of Tlaquepaque, and a 15-minute walk from the L3 sky train, which takes you downtown and to the other side of Guadalajara. The hosts gave me a lot of very useful information about what to do, where to eat. There is a nice outdoor patio in the back, and the bathrooms are clean!

Springy beds

There were not enough blankets on the bed, just one small blanket that didn't cover both of us. There were three men who appeared to be more permanent guests - not sure - but they were loud in the evening and in the morning. I had to ask one if I could turn the lights out because the light was shining into our room. He complied. We woke up to loud talking, a radio or tv, and one of the guys coughing and hacking as if he was very sick.

The woman host was fantastic, the showers worked well, the place was clean.

I was in the room with 2 twin beds, and the bed wasn't the most comfortable.

The location is amazing, just minutes from the centro of Tlaquepaque (but far enough for it to still be quiet. The walls must be thick; I didn't even hear music blasting from a restaurant one block over). The bathroom is shared but only among 4 rooms, so it was also empty when I needed it. The place is less like a hotel and more like a house with 5 bedrooms. It's very comfortable. There's a fruit breakfast included and the staff is friendly. The garden out back is a nice place to relax. Also, check-in is at noon, which is much earlier than most places.

The hostal is in a safe area right at the center of Tlaquepaque. The hostess Claudia is very kind and very helpful, she made us fresh breakfast and gave us lots of good recommendations.

The manager, Claudia, was so incredibly kind and helpful, drew me maps to help me get around, told me the best places to buy beautiful local art at about 1/3 the price of what's available downtown. The hostel is clean & comfortable, and perfectly located to explore Tlaquepaque's vibrant culture & nightlife with just a short, safe walk. I'm so grateful and so glad I stayed here.

We stayed here for the Dia De Los Muertos Celebration. Claudia was a great host and her place is very safe so we felt safe during the crowded festival. Claudia was so helpful with local suggestions on where to eat and what to see in the area. I would highly recommend this family run place if you want to experience the hospitality of Mexico in a comfortable setting.

There were cockroaches in the bathroom, and the rooms were really hot.

No cold water, no attention to the client, breakfast included but only for a very short time frame and not on Sundays. We had to leave after our first time due to is being uncomfortable at the hostal, we sent a message and they never responded

Beds were not super comfy but that was the only negative.

Excellent location, very close to the plaza! WiFi connection was great. Breakfast was OK, delicious coffee. Staff was super helpful and nice.
