Good outside space, nice pool, next to a reasonably priced restaurant, close to centre

Rooms very tired and in need of TLC, towels weren’t clean, air con leaking over the bed, filthy old lampshade, lack of space to store things (e.g. hooks) - didn’t look like the pictures at all

Helpful staff. Central location, away from the noise. Average facility that can provide you with the bare necessities for a couple of days.

Nice area and staff was friendly.

Be aware, there are many mosquitos! No information about AC. Apparently it is only on from 10pm to 7am and if the room is less than 50% full, the AC is only on for 3 hours, so the room was boiling hot.

only staff. they try to support if they are available.

so many times shower without water & toilets without toilet paper. Shower stops working any time & you have to came out, go to reception to complain them & then they start water supply. It takes 15-20 minutes to run shower again after they start water supply. Kitchen was extremely dirty.

    Property response:

Hi, we appreciate it that Booking.com does give us an opportunity to reply. We kindly ask you to check if you are rating the right hotel, we do not have any control to "cut" or supply the water in the bathrooms, basically water is available 24/7. About the kitchen we always clean it, are the same guest who use it who have to clean after cook, it is call education. Kind regards

Nice simple rooms that were great value for money, and very good breakfast!! The location was also great, super close to the bus station and central square. And the staff is very kind!

Nothing. Some things need maybe a bit of an update, like the bathroom but for the money you pay it’s really tiny.

The location is great, with free private parking and a great café for some delicious and affordable breakfast. The rooms were nice with good WiFi and the courtyard and pool area was lovely. Kind and helpful staff

We had an issue on our second night, at midnight the electricity in our room (only our room for some reason) stopped working due to the city’s electrical grid, which meant it got very hot without the AC and we didn’t sleep well. However, the next day the staff were really understanding and apologetic about the situation and they upgraded us into the suit with the private pool for our last night. This shows excellent customer service and proactivity, which is much appreciated :)

It was a good walking distance from the main square. The staff was also really nice. They have a restaurant on site and offer some interesting tours (I didn't utilize either of these things, but heard from others that it was good). And there's a pool in the main yard, which was pretty cool.

Aircon had to be turned off during the day (it only ran from 10pm - 7am), which meant that if you stayed back in your room after 7am, you'd be boiling. The wifi also wasn't always consistent and I'd have to reconnect a bunch of times.

Close to town. Guests were friendly. There is a small kitchen (albeit with limited equipment). Pool (but it’s tiny).

Kitchen could do with love and water bottle is cumbersome. Manager was miserable the day I checked in and though 10 beds in dorm and only 3 people he argued that I couldn’t change the number of bed. I prevailed but should not have had to (no one else came as he claimed).

The location is amazing, the little pool is perfect after a long day of visiting places. The staff is really nice and helpful !

The main door doesn’t shut properly at the bottom so a few insects crawled in but it was fine.

The place has a very nice outdoor area with a pool, a bar and tables and chairs! The people are very nice and willing to help. There’s a great breakfast place!

The bathroom had a bit of a smell and very low water pressure in the shower.

We had the double bunkbed room for the one night as needed to do stuff locally. The other rooms had windows and balcony's but we were on a budget! The room was comfy, clean with modern shower (not common in this area) They were very accommodating and Estefania and Kevin helped us with what we needed - over and above their normal work so we were very grateful. Handy to leave bags when checking in/out late early! A few mins walk from the main square - and a little street noise but it gets quiet after 10pm. Would DEF stay here again. We really liked the shared kitchen (with water) as no fridge in our particular room and the picnic tables, friendly chill atmosphere with a bar and cafe. So you kind of have everything you need! Thanks Team Tunich!

Would have loved a fridge in the room but otherwise - a very well run boutique hostel. Felicidades! Y Gracias
