The hostel says adults only which lets think it is a place where you will not be woken up each hour of the night by irresespectfull ladies going out at night... unfortunatly it happens in the 12 and 6 dorm For the rest it was just OK Beds are not so good No AC before 8 pm wich is a bit annoying when it is 35 degres There is no space enought in the 12 bedroom dorm and only 1 bathroom!!

Nothing to complain about, everything was good for a night's stay.

Excellent location, next to the main avenue with lots of restaurants, super close to the Ferry and Bus terminal for the Airport. We only stayed for one night as we were coming from Cozumel and had to be at the airport earlier on the next day.

There were no bathroom footmat or extra towels provided. You had to go to the front desk and have it changed everyday. Which is inconvenient. The rooms look bigger in the photos than actual. The kitchen stoves take forever to start up and our grocery also went missing from the common fridge despite putting our name tag on it. The pool and the terrace area are nice but it definitely seemed like they could do a bit more to make it more interactive with the other people staying at the hostel. So much unused potential Honestly - for the price I paid - the facilities were sub-par. The bathroom did not have adequate hand wash, no shampoo conditioner and body wash. Also, for the water there is no service. You have to go downstairs and fill it up from the common area. The front desk guy said it's 10 pesos to fill up water if it's in a container and free by the glass. This was a weird policy. So, I was stressed getting water wondering if I exceeded my limit which hampered my stay experience. Turn on the shower a bit more and the water pressure will piece through your skin. The pillows were hard rocks and I had neck pain. And there were no blankets - so we slept under one thin cotton sheet at night.we requested for more pillows due to a medical need and they didn't have any. Next day, we got a decent blanket. So, I won't come back here again.. The staff is friendly and exceptionally helpful and kind. They always had answers to any of my questions and suggested places to visit, eat or find stuff.

It was a very nice place, only negative thing would be they said the roof terrace closed at a certain time so people could sleep but then it didn’t… people were very loud until very late and our bedroom was right next to this.

Fridge was not well managed and it was difficult to fit things in. Other wise the kitchen was well equipped. Towels and bedding and room fittings were a little bit old and tired, but at the price it was what you expect.

The roof top bar was lovely and spacious. It was on the edge of the tourist zone so nice and quiet at night. Nice variety of back packing folks from around the world and Mexico.

There were too many beds in a double room and no ventilation AC was functioning only after 8 pm. My bed was right beside the door and in front of the bathroom door, the bathroom was always busy and didn't look clean. I guess for the price you can't expect perfection.

The staff was friendly and helpful especially Lalo and Devin. I also like the fact that it was so near the beach, also it has a nice terrace, people go to smoke there and also a very small pool, you won't be able to swim on it.

Our room did not have a proper window, with only a small one facing the internal corridor, which we kept closed and sealed. This limited airflow, causing a slight odor inside. However, since our stay was short, it wasn’t a major issue for us.

We booked this place last minute to enjoy our final day in Playa del Carmen before heading home. It offers great value for the price and is ideal for a short stay. We loved the location and appreciated the warm welcome from the reception host, who was super friendly, cool, and even checked us in early. The rooftop terrace is cozy and features a small pool, adding to the charm.

The swimming was pretty small and not really clean

The location is great, just 2 blocks from the ADO bus station and 2 blocks away from the stunning beach. The receptionist has been really nice and the room was very large and clean. It had 2 fans, the AC and even a deudimidificator that we really appreciate. The rooftop terrace is very pleasant.

I would add curtains on the beds for privacy. The kitchen needs some cleaning, specially the fridge is very stuffed

Excellent location, near ferry and ADO stations. Close to markets, food and anything you need. Staff was friendly. Lockers in dorm I stayed in a 6 bed dorm for female and it was pretty clean. Came for 1 night and stayed 2… would rebook!

The kitchen area and fridge was very cluttered and messy. Could do with a bit of cleaning and organisation.

Loved the location of the property as it’s close to the ferry terminal and the bus terminal. Secure and safe. Nice chilled hostel with friendly staff. The roof top chill out area was a nice place to relax. Kitchen facilities were good.

Can't find anything that I didn't like..it's mostly positive!! Maybe a couple forks/tenador would be great..that's it!!

Mostly the overall experience, kitchen & terrasse are big factors why I'd return to 3B hostel, the staff is also nice! Cuoi the daytime manager is very professional & helpful he'll make your stay easy & plaisant so you'll come back
