Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

CanadaTo be honest, I felt like the service in general was bad. Don't get me wrong; they were very friendly, but when it came time to serve and offer food in the pool/beach club area, it was actually hard to get service. Usually in all inclusive resorts, server are really proactive in keeping the guests always with drinks and food, but here it was hard to get that. Also they are missing more food stations around the hotel there ir no burger station or tacos station or any type of "station" close to the pool where you can go and grab food, there is only a bar in the middle where you have to sit down otherwise, they don't give you food ( the weirdest rule on an all-inclusive hotel i ever heard ). I'm going to assume that the server was just going rogue, making up its own rules, so a callout for management to check on that. The hotel doesn't have a beachfront, and you need to take a van to get to it. Once you get there, if you are lucky, the seaweed will not be too bad that you will be able to swim there; otherwise, they have two pools that are really small for the size of the club. They have beds close to the pool, but they charge you extra for them ( 300usd ). In general, everything that was extra at this hotel had ridiculously expensive prices, but you don't NEED any of those extra services to enjoy your stay, so I didn't mind it. We just went to the beach club one afternoon, but it was just not pleasant to be in. As I said pool was small, the seaweed was really bad, and the shade for the general sunbeds was not good enough to keep you cool, so we went back to the hotel for the rest of our stay.
Food in general was delicious above the average of normal all-inclusive, 8/10, and the facilities were really clean and well-designed. The hotel feels luxurious, and the bedrooms are amazing! Drinks were also above the average of an all inclusive, in genral the quality of things was really good.

GermanyUnfortunately there was no Spa, wich I think is a pity and a must with the Hyatt Resort but you still have plenty of activities you can join.
Staff was very friendly and helpful at all times. Accommodations including room service were really good. The beach club was exceptional and gives access to one of the best beaches in Cancun Island - Dolphin Beach - great cocktails there and an amazing infinite pool for the gram people. Overall very good!

BelgiumRoom was not fully clean, there was dust, hair and dirt on the floor. I had to ask the cleaners to clean the floors when I arrived.
Very nice hotel, however, staff at reception were not very informative. They told us nothing about the hotel and just took payment. We were also left waiting one hour before we could check in. A host asked us to sit down and wait for check-in but then seemed to have forgotten about us. I believe the staff at reception still need more training.

United StatesThe entertainment is seriously lacking! Every evening, house music was played, and it was awful. When you asked the DJ if they could play certain songs, the DJ responded that his manager would only allow him to play a set playlist, so people would just end up leaving. It was honestly a buzz kill, and with that being the only evening activity, it was just awful. The resort was completely dead by 10 pm. They do have a midnight dance party that starts at 11 and the music they play is a mix of everything and it is a fun time, but it is from 11-1am and that's seriously the only fun activity you get all day. With it being so late, and I think people just giving up on a fun time, maybe 25 people attend. The music played at the pool was again house music. It was so annoying, and everyone was complaining. They could even play a mix. I mean, it is an adults-only resort, I think we can hear a little of everything. The vibes were just off. Who wants to get drunk by the pool in Mexico, listening to music from the Jersey Shore? By no means were we looking for a "party resort", but we were hoping to hear good music at the pool and maybe some more upbeat activities, and not bracelet making or listening to saxophones and violinists. I will say the resort was absolutely beautiful and the staff goes above and beyond, but if you're looking for a fun time this is not the place for you. It's too chill and gives senior citizen vibes. The entertainment is the only thing stopping us from coming back.

United StatesWe opted for the vantage club but there was not much that made you feel special. The drinks were only available at the vantage bar which made it annoying if you are at the pool or somewhere. There also was no real way to track who was who so I would say, no need to get it as you do not feel VIP. We also had $200 credit but was truly unsure what it can be used on. We kept hearing that it could not be used at different places so we stopped trying after a while. Lastly, I will say to please invest in food quality. The steak was not real and the food ultimately did get me sick on the resort. The beach club, ceviche, sushi and the buffet were the best options but please be careful
I loved the location and the facilities. They are still building the property up and I have a feeling it is going to be a beautiful site. They have some really great people from Sergio at the front to Deyra. They are all extremely helpful and make you feel well. The entertainment team did wonderful and the breakfast was really great. The beach club is also a must and the food was delicious.

New ZealandNeed to get a better process at the gate to let people. Multiple times it took a while to let us in the gate every time when we were staying.
All inclusive, good is pretty good, not the best iv ever had but good. All inclusive food and drinks great activities. Staying on the golf course side is much better due to the loud music playing on the pool side. Friendly staff, good value if you book early. Great new facilities. Would stay again. Great beach club and free ride there.

AustraliaWe received a $200USD voucher from the resort as we booked through booking.com. When we went to “redeem” the $200USD the following occurred. The man at the reception desk said that Couples were invited “today only” to receive a lunch at a sister resort (20 mins away). He said that it was a new resort so they were inviting people to have a look so they can come back next time and try another place to stay (within the Hyatt group) / let your friends and family know how good it is so they come too. Unfortunately this man was lying and we in fact had to sit for 3 hours with a sales person, who was trying to get us to opt in to an expensive 40 year long contract with the Hyatt Group. We said many times that we were lied to, we didn’t want the membership (even if it was a free membership), and asked to leave and go back to our resort however they just kept going. They wouldn’t let us leave. It felt like 3 hours of torture. Maybe we were naive in accepting the lunch, who knows. I’m not saying don’t stay at the resort i’m just saying be aware of this scheme. Definitely put a bit of a damper on our stay.
Facilities were good and the staff were awesome for the most part. Always making sure you have what you want/ need.
