Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United StatesPlease have a good pair of earplugs with you. The place next door has music into the morning hours on SOME nights during the week. Also, some “beach” traffic. Guess it comes with “the territory”.
Jon, the host, has a delightful small (5 rooms) boutique with an available kitchen, dining area, and two outside areas to sit and relax. My room was comfortable with a large bathroom. Everything was IMMACULATE! Also walking distance to central Progreso.

EstoniaThe first night we spend on the first floor - on the other side on the room wall was reception. It was the last room on this day, so we took it. The price was very good but there was sometimes a little bit noisy. The staff was very kind and the second night was possible to spend it on the second floor. We paied about 12€ more and there was excellent!
Very nice style and very clean hostel!! Staff was very kind and friendly! Great location near beach, shops and market. Nice boutique hostel with only 5 rooms. On the second floor was nice big room and was quiet. It was only about 1 month back renovated hostel - nice clean smell!

The hotel is a block from the beach and Malecon. There was a well equipped kitchen to use. Was not a very long walk to the main downtown. There were plenty of places to eat. I felt very welcomed.

Giancarlo is an exceptional host. He is very welcoming and available to share information and/or conversation as you wish. Our private room with bath (with hot water) was simple but clean, spacious, and comfortable with a bed and a couch. Our room had plenty of natural light and a well-functioning air conditioner. The shared kitchen was a great amenity that saved us money on food. There is a well-stocked Oxxo across the street and a Starbucks. I usually prefer local coffee shops but the Starbucks was much better than the other two coffee places I tried on the malecón. Plus, the Starbucks is located in an interesting architectural space on the ground floor of the museum across the street. Itzel is in a great location just a short block from the nicest end of the malecón!

CanadaIt's no fault of the hotel but it is next to a bar that played very loud music until late into the night (2:30 a.m.). It was difficult to sleep.
Staff extremely friendly and helpful; charming older hotel with lots of character; room very large facing the ocean; location is fantastic just one block off the beach.

PeruThe a/c was dripping the entire night. The shower curtain was damaged and it fell apart. I initially booked this place for 2 instead of 3, I asked if I could pay for the 3rd person upon arrival and I was told that there wouldn’t be a problem. When we arrived I tried to pay for my sister and I was told that I needed to pay a 4% commission that they were being charged for utilizing their clip machine to charge me. Why should I or any paying customer pay for a service that they are offering. If any company decides on providing a service (paying with a credit card) then they should pay for that commission and NOT the customer! If the 4% commission is a recurring problem for them then they shouldn’t offer that option and why would you allow such establishments promote their business on your platform?! This not only speaks badly of them, but you as well. I will NOT be utilizing your services or anyone in my immediate family or friends because of this incident. Not recommending the or you in the future! This experience was extremely disappointing!
