The doors are a bit rickety and don't really keep noise out but there is no street noise and not that many rooms in the hotel so it isn't a big issue.

Beautiful hotel with wonderful staff, good breakfast, lovely interior, garden, terrace and adjacent restaurant. What more could you wish for?

Not really a dislike but not quite as good as the other things: On a busy street but you don’t hear the sound. On edge of going out of town, maybe 6 blocks from a plaza w food stands.

Poetry on the wall, relaxed feeling, super helpful staff. Cold bottled water dispenser for free.Super cute w hammock in room, pool to cool down in. The day before, we asked if there was a place we could watch the Women’s Euros at 10 am. The next day they brought us a laptop as promised at 9:40. Locked parking space behind a gate.

Beautiful and very comfortable small hotel, in short walking distance of all the main sights and lots of restaurants and cafe’s. The hotel has a nice little restaurant as well and serves a great breakfast. Loved the attention to detail and the eco-focus. Great welcoming staff. Warmly recommended!

One day we specifically asked for the room to be cleaned but it looked like they only made the bed; the floor and the bathroom had not been cleaned.

Sadly I only stayed one night as I had a very early flight - so early that I had to leave before I think the hit water gets switched on so I had a rather extreme wake up call!

I expected to love the style of this hotel most as it has been very thoughtfully done, and is full of greenery, but honestly the reception staff were an absolute delight, I’d go again just for them. Was a lovely touch to get a chilled towel and fresh juice when I arrived and the woman who showed me around clearly loved the place and did a great job.

Our room had a strong chemical smell, probably to ward off rodents and other pests.

Swimming pool was really more of a cool soaking pool. Unless you were six inches tall, no swimming will be done.

There was a particular smell, probably mosquito repellent, very strong in our bathroom. Our friend’s room didn’t have it. We didn’t care enough to do something to change it, I’m sure they would have fixed it if asked.

Absolutely LOVED this place!!!! What a wonderful artistic boutique hotel! If you are looking for something different and special, this is your place. Luxury comes in many forms. The owners have been REALLY helpful, even arranged a driver with a van for our group for cenote hopping. Rooms are small but beautifully arranged and comfortable. Common spaces are gorgeous. Breakfast eggs individually made. Central location. Restaurant suggestions by the hotel were all delicious. Thank you so much, I hope we can come back some time!

The night attendant was washing the 2nd level patio w water and dragging a loud bucket at 3am!!!! Bar nearby was very loud until 2-3 am as well.

The block where the hotel is located is a bit unkept (not the fault of the hotel). There is some trash around. But the whole area felt safe even at night. Hot water is not always available.

Delicious breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, and a beautiful building covered in plants. There is a great restaurant in the building too if you're tired from traveling. Really loved my stay here. A lovely little oasis close to the historic center. Just a few blocks from the main bus station so it's easy to get around from there. I really appreciated the booklets about the city's history and recommendations of what to do.
