Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

It is not a dislike but they should explain the policy in arrival - e.g when they do the rooms. And even if it is every second day (no issue with this), they should refill water, toilet paper and coffee. There was no problem when I asked for above.
Location is really good. As it is new, everything feels super clean. I really liked the minimal design.

The products in the shower come out one drop at the time none of the bottles pump system work.. nespresso machine also did not work

The design of the bathroom sink isn’t very functional and water tends to spray outside of the vessel, no TV, minimal design goes a bit too far for my taste and makes the place feel like a beautiful prison, noise carries easily, no double bed options
Excellent hot water, very good water pressure, a fan in the bathroom (first I’ve seen in Mexico), comfortable bed, on-site laundry (paid), very kind staff, great location

Ac needs To be handles with care
Very clean. Run by almost all women! Very responsive staff. Ac didn’t work two nights but they made up for it. Small rooms - maybe too small for our family of 2 adults and a 5 year old.

WiFi kept cutting out
Big room with lovely decor. The terrace was an added bonus - we picked up coffee and pastries nearby and enjoyed a quiet breakfast here before heading out for the day

No kettle, no breakfast provided but a short walk from some bakeries. Rooms on the front of hotel face the road so could be a bit noisy.
Clean modern new boutique hotel, very friendly and helpful receptionist. Rooms are large and toiletries are nice.

The one thing that prevents a perfect score is that we could hear noise from the lobby in room #1
Staff is incredible. They're super happy to help and provide cold water and espresso capsules on request! Location is superb as well as you can easily walk to pretty much al tourist spots in the city.

We had a truly exceptional stay at HOTEL LEPETIT. The location is unbeatable, making it easy to explore the area. The shower was fantastic, boasting incredible pressure that made every rinse feel luxurious. The Wi-Fi was lightning fast, perfect for staying connected. What really stood out, though, was the team. They were not only friendly but also genuinely helpful, going out of their way to answer and assist all our questions and ensure we had everything we needed.

Smell is paint and the fact we had no table to put our luggage or other items on. No bin in the main room. Also bin in bathroom not emptied everyday.
It was brand new so had a few teething problems. But comfortable

Price quality not aligned. Room is directly on the road (so very noisy and not possible to open window without people looking in the room), plus several details not in line with expectations (f.e bathroom door not closing, shower not working properly..). Unfortunately seems nicer than it really is.
Nice design room, very close to the city center in a quite position.

I didn’t like that there was hair in the bathroom from previous clients, and that it took them three days to fix the air conditioning in our room, one of the main reasons why we chose this property.
Location, and it’s brand new. The staff was really friendly and helpful.
