Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThere was a coffee maker with coffee and filters, hot plate, microwave, dishes, bowls, silverware. We were up stairs and had a view of toward the ocean and of the pool. We also had a patio just outside our door with a table and chairs. There was a downstairs kitchen also that was used for socializing, making food, and hanging out. Large secure parking lot. There are several bicycles available for use without cost. There are also kayaks.

United StatesWe wished maps of Loreto were provided, but we found our way with maps on line. Sometimes it's just nice to have an old fashion paper map. They did; however, have many brochures and excursions and restaurant info.
Breakfast was not included but there was a wonderful, well equiped common kitchen that we used a couple of times. We stayed in the penthouse and a kitchenette was provided with a large refrigerator. We barbequed downstairs. There was a partial view of the water and they provided bicycles for guests to ride. The Malecon was within walking distance.

United StatesIt was fabulous. It was easy to get to and very friendly and comfortable. They have a lovely pool which is heated enough to make February swimming very nice. We had the penthouse upstairs room with a fantastic view. The bed was perfect and the room was quiet. We highly recommend.

CanadaIt was a bit far from the center, but with the bikes, this wasn't an issue.
We stayed in the room on the second story with a large patio with cooking facilities and also a 3rd floor area with a hammock and loungers. The hosts were great and extremely informative. We used the free hotel bikes for roaming around town. It was a far nicer place to stay than the one used by our kayak tour company that was on the beach but not well maintained.

United StatesSofter pillows would be great! The address is on Davis St but the entrance is around the corner unmarked so difficult to find. The owner was extremely helpful when I called and directed me to the entrance. I think it would help to have better instructions as to where to put trash/recycle and housekeeping services. We were supplied with plenty of towels for 4 days but no housekeeping was offered. It was not a problem but our floor got quite dusty after a couple of days and needed to be mopped.
Great location and the bikes available made it so easy to bike into town for groceries and restaurants. Our accommodations were amazing! Comfortable bed, plenty of drawers and closet space to unpack and get comfortable. The outdoor kitchen and patio space was great but the top floor lounging area was beautiful with the ocean view, hammock and chairs.Cindy was a wealth of information for restaurants and activities.

United StatesNothing,
The location of the property was 3 minutes away from the malecon and the marina. It was short walking distance to the plaza for shopping and eating. You have access to bikes on the property to get around. The pool was amazing! Our room had a kitchen but we ended up cooking/barbequing in the outdoor kitchen which was fabulous. Cindy who is the host that lives there was fantastic. She has all of the connections you would need to truly experience Loreto. Also if you ever need anything for your room she had access to get!

United Stateseverything was excellent on our stay.
The property was spacious, private and very comfortable. Our room was clean and had all kitchen needs for your vacation trip. The location was very convenient , only a few minute walk to the beach. The pool was clean and relaxing. And last but not least our host Cindy was super helpful; especially if it’s your first time in Loreto! Definitely a hotel I would stay at again next time my family and I visit Loreto.

United StatesLike much of Loreto town, the property abutted a road. Locals use the roads as drag strips. Too many favor loud engines, exhaust systems and radios after dark. Loreto is for me otherwise a wonderful place. I have to be careful to check that my lodging isn't near a well-travelled road. Such info is generally missing on line.
Our place was spacious, clean and had a full kitchen and view deck. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Easy walk to the oceanside Malecon, with Sea of Cortez and island views. Town is right there with a nicely set up no-car pedestrian walkway street, some great restaurants, and of course the 1693 mission.
