The bathtub in the bathroom was a bit difficult to climb over to take a shower in. The chilaquiles at breakfast were good, but the omelettes had too much cheese in them. We had expected the Calzada de los Frailes to be livelier and have more shops but there was just really a handful selling so-so items.

We loved our room at this hotel, it was modern, spacious, well-designed and well-appointed. The bed was very comfortable and there was an AC in both the bedroom and the living room, where the sofa bed was for the 3rd person. The person at the check-in counter was very helpful and efficient. There was a nice coffeeshop just outside the hotel that served very nice frappes and cakes. The hotel was near the San Bernardino Convent where there is a short light show in the evenings, and there are nice restaurants along the Calzada de los Frailes, just to the left of the little plaza in front of the hotel.

We had a great stay in Frater Hotel. Perfect location in you want to enjoy the town and Valladolid charm..lots of lovely little shops, local restaurants, bars, cafes all in walking distance from the hotel. Our room was nice and clean, we had good breakfast and the whole team was friendly and helpful.

I would suggest they add some more fruit to breakfast since the amount given is minimal and we have stayed in 5 other 4&5 star hotels around Yucatan and received 2-3 times more fruit everywhere.

We loved this hotel, we had two rooms for a family of four and they exceeded our expectations. Staff were great, location was excellent, rooms were very clean. We would have no problems going back and staying at this hotel. No parking on site but we easily parked across the road. A short walk into the main part of town and the restaurant area. Breakfast each morning in the courtyard was a nice way to start the day. The hammocks on the balconies were very comfortable.

There is loud music at night - first from cafe next door (speakers inside hotel lobby); but much worse is bar across from convent that plays thumping music til very late. Earplugs and noise machine helped a bit, but still felt that bass beat.

Really beautiful hotel. Great location, easily walk in to the centre of Valladolid, close to restaurants and shops. There’s a great cafe right next to the hotel too! The room was really clean and comfy, so was the bathroom. Really pretty! We loved our stay

Nothing too serious. If you are tall, taking a shower could be a challenge, shower head sits too low on the wall. Some sunbeds by the pool were missing their mattresses and the ones that had, they were of low quality. Wooden floor by the pool has deteriorated and you need to watch your step.

Big room, comfy bed, establishment feels new or recently renovated, located in a nice part of Valladolid directly on a big square with lots to do around. Lively neighborhood but not too noisy. Wifi reception was good. Breakfast was rather simple but tasty and well prepared. Hotel doesn't have parking space but free street parking was always available nearby.

If you are planning an early day, be aware that breakfast service starts at 7:30 and is not especially quick, although they would likely try to accommodate you if they know.

A 10 minute walk from the main plaza, the location was away from the hubbub but still an easy walk and close to coffee shops and restaurants. Just steps from the evening sound and light show at the convent. Service was friendly and prompt and breakfast abundant. The hotel provides drinking water if you have your refillable bottle. Lovely place! If you are there on the weekend, the Calzada Los Frailes street is pedestrian only after 5pm. Don't miss great food and craft beer at Idilio Folklore Cervecero nearby.

Weekend night in the bar right outside the hotel there was music, If you wanted to be quiet, just know, at least up to 12 midnight you can hear it. But it didn't bothered that particular stay.

Very nice walking area, old town vibe with touristic street full of restaurants and little shops. Breakfast was superb, 5 different plate choices all yummy. The staff super nice. The family bedroom we stayed was really big, very tastefully design and new. Right next to reception, it's a small hotel. It was 10-15min walk to valladolid main plaza (park) Plenty of space to park your car in the street. safe to walk

While this is a minor point, we did not care for the classic 80’s pop music that played in the background by the pool most of the day and into the night. Perhaps this is a cultural preference but we would have preferred a more serene ambiance.

Los Frailes Concept Hotel is a lovely boutique hotel located in a beautiful area of Valladolid. Our room was very comfortable and overlooked the pool. The staff were very accommodating and kind. Breakfast options were plentiful and tasty. Highly recommend.
