Only odd thing was that they keep a physical ID behind the counter for the duration of your stay. I am not sure if this is customary, it ended up being fine, but I felt a little uneasy handing over my ID as I haven’t had to do this for the whole stay before. But not a big deal :)

Everything! Loved the location, my room was so nice looking over the pool. The restaurant was great, they even let me take it back to my room. Staff were so nice too.

The music in the Restaurant area was actually very loud and not even a good one. That was a bit annoying.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Nomads Experience Hotel! We had a large, spacious room with a big, super cozy bed and tasteful interior design. The new pool, inspired by a cenote, creates a truly special atmosphere. While it’s not really suited for swimming, it’s perfect for cooling off and relaxing. For breakfast, you can choose from three dishes, accompanied by fresh fruit, juice, and delicious Mexican coffee (with free refills). Overall, the restaurant prices are very reasonable – we especially fell in love with the quesabirria! There’s also a tattoo studio inside the hotel, where we got tattooed by @marea.negra. The studio is very clean and professional, set in a beautiful environment with talented artists. The prices are great too – overall, it was a wonderful experience that will stay with us forever. What really stood out, however, were the hotel’s in-house activities! We joined both the Taco Tour and the Guacamole Workshop, both led by the amazing Carlos! The Taco Tour begins with quesabirria at the hotel restaurant, followed by a short walk to a nearby market where Carlos takes you to a small food stand for even more tacos. You can immediately tell that Carlos is a true foodie – his passion for sharing the flavors and stories of his country’s cuisine is infectious. He loves connecting with guests and answering any questions. At the end, he introduced us to two traditional desserts, which we also got to try – overall, a fantastic experience and a perfect way to dive into some typical Mexican dishes. We also took part in the Guacamole Workshop with Carlos, which was equally amazing! He shared lots of tips and tricks for the preparation, was happy to answer all our questions, and we ended the session by enjoying the fresh guacamole together. Carlos also offers other activities like a bike tour and a mojito workshop. We were truly sad to leave – we definitely would have loved to join more of his activities!

It was a bit hard to find the place, as it operates under two different names—a hotel and a hostel—which made it a bit confusing.

We were just looking for a place to sleep during our trip, and for that purpose, it was okay. However, the room wasn’t particularly cozy—definitely not somewhere I’d want to stay for a week or longer.

Nice location, away from the hotel area so it is also quieter. The staff also very helpful! When we asked for a room change because of the noise next to us (they were renovating the room next to us), they instantly provided us with a better option. So in general very happy with our stay.

Very friendly hotel, with very helpful staff, a nice on-site bar/cafe, and quirky decor in the public areas. Lots of places to sit outside and chill out with a cold beer. Mexican breakfast was fabulous. The only issue was the name: when we booked it was in the name of Mezcal Hotel, but it's actually called Nomads - did cause some confusion when we arrived in the taxi.

We had a great stay here! The room was comfortable and cute, the décoration of the hotel was really pretty, the location was fantastic with easy street parking. The only downside was there was hardly any pressure in the shower so impossible to wash my hair but other than that great place i recommend !

The hoatel itself is beautiful and spacious. It felt like a Harry Potter castle. I stayed in a female dorm and the room was ok but the bathroom was Hell. There's no ventilation in it, no AC and I had to shower twice from how hot it became. I would appreciate a fan or AC in the bathroom. Also water head was rusted. Hope you can improve that There was a girl in the room who kinda lives there and is kinda creepy.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel was beautiful, but the rooms need some renovation. The atmosphere in our room was sometimes unbearable because of the very high humidity and infrastructure. The cleaning could also be better. The location is amazing though!! Overall, a good value for money option.

Some parts of the hotel could get an upgrade - the bathroom was a bit old with shower head falling apart.
