They turn off AC during the day, it was horrible in the room even with a fan. The pillow was too flat for me so I had trouble sleeping and the bed is a little too firm for me too.

Lots of things! It was really close to the bus station so great for arrivals and departures, also for catching buses to explore the area. The hostel was really clean and I found all the staff very friendly and helpful.

It can get hot and humid really quick in Cancun, so probably get fans for the bedrooms when the ac is switched off (8-8pm)

Location was really ideal. Close to Ado bus, supermarkets, shops, restaurants, evening and weekend markets and the beach is a few minutes away. The owner and all staff were really kind. The kitchen is equipped. Bedrooms are spacious and storage is enough. The pool is clean and good for a lazy/slow day. I like that they clean rooms/beds every day. Kudos to the mango tree by the pool area - sweetest mangoes in Cancun.

Perfect location, very close to the ADO bus station, which was great since we had to wake up early to catch our bus to Belize City. The man at reception was really friendly and helpful. It’s exactly what we expected, definitely not a luxurious place, but it’s clean, has good beds and, like I said, the location is perfect. Also, great street tacos just around the corner. Olé!

The shower stalls are divided by semi-transparent plastic panel sheets, and able to see a silhouette of the person in the next shower stall. There is no hook or place to put clothing inside the shower stall, must place them outside in the common area, it's a problem to undress and place the clothing in the common area, nude before going into the shower in the common area. One suggestion to this hostel owner or manager, is to put a hook on inside the door, and hang a shower curtain between the door and the shower, this is to keep the clothing dry while showering. This is the only major problem in this hostel.

Only 2 minutes walk from Cancun town center's Ado bus station. The hostel is on a safe and quiet street, with plenty of eateries and convenience stores nearby. The hostel is tidy and clean, with a modern swimming pool and outdoor lounge area just like a hotel. It has a kitchen and dining area where you can heat up a small meal. Each dorm bed has its own lamp and a curtain but not completely covered, better than none. No mosquitoes not even in the washroom and shower stall.

Better than I had expected. Superbly close to ADO but quiet enough to sleep. Room is clean and comfy with good AC. The male staff who tended to us was a bit annoyed that we came in at 1am but I did inform the property beforehand. Only annoying thing is that they had to start construction at 8am when we were still very tired from arriving late before.

The room wasn’t the cleanest, the staffs are really nice but I had horrible roommates who turned on the lights when I tried to sleep early since I had to wake up early the next day. They made loud noises and I couldn’t sleep well.

Excellent location for catching an early flight. I arrived early for my snorkeling activity in Cancun, and I'm so happy that a room is available for my early check-in(indeeded, I have made my request for early check-in earlier). I managed to settle all my bags and get myself ready for the snorkeling tour. With Mr. Tacos close by for the excellent shrimp barrito...yumm All staffs are friendly.

I loved how easy it was to get to from the ADO bus station. Easy, few minute walk after a long bus. Really quiet rooms with comfortable beds and really strong shower pressure. Even hot water.

Very convenient as we were travelling by ADO, only a 2 minute walk. Situated only a few minute walk to Park Las Palapas great place to hang out for an evening. Air conditioned room and mini fridge was a bonus.

No soap in bathroom or towel provided in the dorm rooms. Bed a little uncomfortable. Rusty lockers. More utensils in kitchen needed and a kettle would be good for tea.

Location good as close to ADO bus station, supermarket. Safe and secure. Kitchen area to cook, has a microwave, small hob and fridge. Staff are friendly. Dorm room was clean, had good lighting and a lamp by bed. The female only dorm has a bathroom attached. Had lockers for small bags although old and rusty! Good value for the money.

The location of the property is very good, it’s very close to the ADO bus station, close to a large supermarket. Restaurants are close by. Easy enough to get the R1 bus from the main road to the Zona hotelera, only costs 50p. The staff were very friendly. I stayed in a double room with bathroom which was clean. It had aircon, a safe and a fridge in the room. The bed was really comfortable. towels were provided. There is a kitchen area with a small hob, microwave and fridge if you want to cook. There is a pool but I didn’t use due to bad weather during my stay. Would definitely stay here again.

The Hostal adds an additional 21% tax at check in for people using booking.com; this was not listed anywhere before arrival. Good place to the money and a short stay.

We were told that children are not welcomed even though Booking.com says that they are. We only needed the room for 8 hours on a long layover, thankfully they allowed us to stay, maybe change the description to reflect this.
