Breakfast was delicious, they served local food, the portions were a good size, and beautifully presented. The entire staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was spotless, and the scent of fresh-cut lilies greeted us upon arrival.

The hotel is a 15 minute walk from the main square, so it is out of the busy tourist location and so much quieter (although it is on a busy street). The rooms were spacious and they have a large interior courtyard. A delicious breakfast is served each morning and the staff are very helpful. We walked everywhere from this location.

The noise on the street in Oaxaca.

You step from the noisy street into a hotel, with booming courtyard. It gives a feeling of tranquility and coziness. The room as a good size and the balcony is beautiful. You can enjoy the nature and the watch the birds.

I can’t praise this place enough. A beautiful, cozy and intimate hotel with a charming garden. Very close to the center but far enough to not be part of the chaos. The staff is very nice, helpful and welcoming. Antonio was a great host checking us in. I would definitely stay again here. Thank you for your hospitality!

The cleaning staff seemed to feel that they needed to rearrange our things every time they made our room.

We were in a ground floor room - if booking again I would try to book an upstairs room as you receive a bit of noise through the floor. Didn't inconvenience us too much though. We struggled a little to get the right temperature for the shower, it only seemed to do very hot or luke warm.

Beautifully designed hotel with large rooms and nice fittings. The breakfasts were outstanding - definitely a highlight. I was worried we were a bit far out from the centre, but actually this was not the case at all, very easy walking distance to almost everything. We were able to check in early too, which was great and meant we could freshen up after our flight and make the most of the afternoon.

Friendly and helpful staff. The guest rooms are beautifully appointed, quiet, spacious and comfortable. The garden and especially the fish pond are delight. Location is excellent, especially for those who like to walk and prefer to be in a neighborhood away a bit removed from the noise of the city center.

Our room was spacious with a lovely bathroom (great shower) and private garden. The breakfast each morning (included) was delicious and varied. The eating area was in a beautiful small garden which was delightful. Staff couldn't have been nicer. Just a great stay.

Water temperature for the shower was a little spotty but hardly a nuisance.

Everything about our experience staying at Casa de Suenos was amazing. It was such a beautiful quaint boutique hotel. A tropical oasis tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Oaxaca. It was far enough from the heart of the center to be quiet and relaxing but an easy 10-15 walk to the surrounding attractions and city center, some things were even closer. We felt very safe walking to and from the property day and night. The rooms were larger than I expected with very comfortable beds/pillows. They appeared exactly how it was pictured. The staff was very helpful and accommodating, allowed us to check in early and gave great recommendations and also helped us get a taxi to and from the airport. When initially booking the hotel I was skeptical of the breakfast that would be included and if it was going to be any good or filling but let me tell you they did NOT disappoint. Breakfast was a 3 course experience with protein options and unlimited tasty coffee, all 6 of us staying there were very pleased with the breakfast each morning. It was so nice to have that included!

Room was modern, amenities like towels and biodegradable soaps and shower products plus natural insect repellent. Morning breakfast included and good. Staff helpful and pleasant. Convenient location to downtown shops, mercados and restaurants without being in the more noisy Zocalo area.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The staff helped us arrange a taxi from the airport when we arrived and helped us set up two excellent tour. Breakfasts were delicious! The rooms were nice and quiet and the location was nice - a little bit removed from the chaos of Santo Domingo and the Zocalo, but still close enough to walk everywhere and feel comfortable. The interior courtyard and patio areas were full of nice plants and were wonderful spaces for relaxing.

The street the hotel is located on is pretty busy, but it's not noticeable once you walk through the door. The breakfast was really good, but it was a little repetitive if you were there for more than a couple of days.

The staff were very helpful and the location was perfect. The room size was great and we used the small balcony every day. Additionally, the included breakfast was tasty and a good way to start the day.
