It's absolutely fabulous✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️ We could not recommend this resort highly enough. We could not have asked for anything more!!! From check-in to departure, there was not a single moment we did not enjoy👌 ALL the staff were attentive, and nothing was a problem. A special shout out to our lovely woman at reception, you are gold, and thank you for your kindness in assisting us with Spanish/English translation(and everything else!) The food at this restaurant is exceptional, and you will not be disappointed!👌✨️ The room was immaculate and cleaned every day with top ups of drinking water and fresh towels provided each day. Thank you, Niken Beachfront, for having us, and we commented each day how fortunate we were to book your beautiful piece of paradise. We were devastated to leave. It's an amazing place, and if we didn't live so far away,(Aus) we would definitely be back!!!! It was a pleasure🙏👌✨️

This is not about the hotel, but the entire coastline was full of seaweed washing up onto the beach. It was hard to access the ocean unless they dug out a pathway through the sea grass. The other thing i would recommend is a pathway from the room to the restaurant and hotel desk that has pavers or tile, so that you don't have to walk in sand whenever you leave your room. For instance if you are going out for dinner and have on shoes that you don't want to get full of sand.

Niken hotel is in a great location. Right on the beach but in a quieter end of the beach which was so nice and chill. No loud music thumping or major partiers yelling. Yet very walkable to go to restaurants etc...Also when i say right on the beach I mean you step out of your room onto the sand. Beautiful ocean views from the room. The room was very clean and spacious. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Additionally the location is very central to alot of the sights and adventures that you'd like to explore in the regions of Tulum. A nice breakfast was included everyday so that was great for the budget.

Absolutely wonderful and best value property on this stretch of the Tulum beach. Rooms are so spacious, the buildings are incorporated in the landscape and are fitted out with natural materials without compromising on comfort with great AC, shower pressure etc. The restaurant had a very nice breakfast. The beautiful beach, beach chairs with plenty of shade if you want it are where you will want to stay all day. Finally the staff and in particular Roberto was so very friendly, they helped me with my reservation, and finding activities that I was looking for in the area with plenty of communications before we got there. I recommend the Niken Tulum to anyone looking for a great hotel and good value in the Tulum area.

The only suggestion I would have is to add a small table in the room for eating in-room. We mostly ate out so it wasn't a big issue. Otherwise, we have no complaints or suggestions!

Our favorite part of staying at Niken was the property itself and the convenience of walking out our patio door onto the beautiful beach each day. It was especially convenient for us since we had our 5 year old too, making quick trips back to the room as needed. We enjoyed watching the sunrise every morning, just steps outside the room, and listening to the birds throughout the day. It was the perfect nature-centered beach experience. Another very meaningful part of our experience was the staff - everyone was very helpful and friendly and really seemed to care about the property and the guests. We loved that the cleaning staff even placed our daughter's favorite stuffed animal in different places each day - it was a thoughtful gesture and fun surprise. Our stay at Niken was very memorable and we are already planning a trip back!

It seemed a little worn in places but added to the jungle vibe - it didn’t bother us.

Roberto on reception was so helpful and welcoming. He truly made the place even more incredible. He helped so much with arranging our excursion and transport and even made us a packed lunch for the day we left as it was early in the morning and we would be missing breakfast. The location is perfect just a ten mins walk from Gitanos & Bagatelle. Couldn’t recommmend enough.

Beautiful beach hotel and the room was large and had a great ocean view / balcony. Beach food and service was great, the vibe was relaxing. The keep the beach very clean and the free parking is a plus.

Mosquitos pretty bad, hot water didn’t work for 2 days in our shower. Included breakfast was mediocre.

Love the location, it was nice and quiet and away from the loud music/club restaurants. The rooms were rustic and beautiful, the rock pool was gorgeous. Always a Beach cabana open and ready for use, front hotel desk staff very helpful.

The hotel exceeded my expectations. Great beach front accommodation and the staff were all great. A short walk to some of tulums finest restaurants and bars. If we're ever back in Tulum, we'd stay here again.

It’s Tulum during winter break: don’t expect a good price/quality ratio. Same room/hotel in high season in Europe would cost half. Maybe at some point tourists will get tired of this but in the meantime if you want to stay in Tulum, that’s the way it is.

Well located in the « calm » area of Tulum. Good amenities and great service: staff is very responsive and accommodating. Good food at the restaurant and efficient staff. Massages are great too.

Shower was with salt water, and in the rooftop the Jacuzzi was not clean and didn’t work. You can book the spa services, but they are not part of the hotel and they cost much more than identical services in the beach.

Beautiful location and very nice staff. The hotel is in the best part (in my opinion) of Tulum, less crowded than other parts. We had a junior suite with an incredible rooftop with a view. This was priceless.

Not a big deal however 3 aircon units next to our room meant constant aircon motor noise throughout the night.

Exceptional hotel with a clean tranquil beach, beautiful design and exceptionally friendly staff. They accommodated some of our changes last minute, offered a free breakfast, provided some water, ect. I would love to come back.

It's such a beautiful place but I think they should put an effort to clean the food stuff after the guests eat and arrange the beach chairs for the next day. It's not a huge concern but you just want it to look a bit polished. I still love Niken so much

I like the staff and their effort to make you feel comfortable and to meet your needs. Nothing is perfect but I'm fuss free so I appreciate everything that they do. The location is great because it's far from pretentious people close to the beginning of the hotel zone

The only thing I would say negative about the property is that we had a couple of power cuts in our room which lasted 10-15 minutes. But I don’t think this can be helped due to the weather

The property has its own restaurant which served really nice food at a reasonable price compared to other places in Tulum. Outside of the property it is a short walk to other restaurants and bars, around 10-15 minutes. Within a 10 minute taxi ride you can reach more restaurants and bars. The staff at the hotel are amazing and can do anything you request. We arrived early before our room was ready and they stored our luggage all day while we went out, keeping me up to date via WhatsApp regarding our room and when it would be ready. When we needed taxis they were called and at the hotel within 5 minutes for us. Any questions we had we were able to communicate via WhatsApp and received a response straight away. On the day of leaving, we were allowed to use the facilities all day - the beach, loungers, restaurant etc.
