Room was a little grubby and well worn. Also not well cleaned as I found an empty water bottle and an old pair of socks lying around.

Friendly staff and a good location just on the edge of the historic town centre.

We requested our room be cleaned one day. After cleaning we had to ask for toilet paper, towels, and soap in the soap dispenser. The staff ranged from good to lazy.

Location. Shower water pressure was good. Generally clean. Large room.

Best hot shower in Mexico so far. Location was great and friendly, helpful staff.

Room could do with a spruce up. Walls were dirty, sheets had cigarette burn, spare blanket had dried food on it, and the shower sprayed everywhere but on me. The dog barking next door also made it hard to sleep some nights.

Great location a few minutes walk from the zocalo and local markets.staff were lovely.

Barking dog at the back of the property. This should have been dealt with by the hotel staff. Also people should be aware that church bells ring early each morning.

This is not the fault of the hotel and for context, generalising, Mexico can be a pretty noisy country. The neighbours have a number of dogs, one of which is a frequent barker. The barking tends to stop later in the evening. I always travel with an eye mask and good earplugs which takes care of the annoyance.

The staff are simply lovely and the rooms are ample and airy with hanging space for clothes and and a large portable fan is provided which is very useful in the night especially. The Wi-Fi is top notch, the bed comfy, good lighting over the vanity unit.

it’s a loud neighbourhood: dogs barking all day and night long, and a lot of noise from people talking and screaming. Also no AC in the room.

This is a very no frills establishment. The bedding, rooms etc could all use a little updating. I guess this is inline with the price per night.

The location was very central and the price was good. The room was big.

It is on quite a busy street and the doors aren't very sturdy so there can be a lot of noise some nights, depending on what the neighbours are doing.

This accommodation was significantly cheaper than anywhere else we could find in the city centre. It was quite basic but is clean and comfortable so we found it sufficient for a few days. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

There was some noise at night from dogs but that seems common all over the city with lots of strays around. There's a common area but it's not the nicest place to sit, if that's what you're looking for.

The location was excellent, just a quick 5 min walk to the main square and the markets. The staff were friendly. The room was spacious and clean, with a reading light, bedside tables and a charging point next to the bed. The shower was excellent. The best water pressure and temperature (nice and hot) we've had in Mexico! Definitely recommend staying here.

The neighbor is quite noisy and the room smelled like humid. Internet connection doesnt work very well. However for the price we paid in very high season overall the experience was positive

Liked everything.

Staff was very accommodating. Letting us leave our bags there while waiting to take the night bus.

- blocked basin - stayed for five days and had to request my bins emptied on day 4, no housekeeping was offered until I asked - dirty walls - all windows open to a walkway so unless you don’t mind people looking in, you’ll get no natural light with the curtains drawn all the time - location feels a bit sketchy after dark as a solo woman, in hindsight I should have stayed closer to zocalo

I wish they had freshwater available for guests on the main level.

It was close to everything. Very clean, exceptional value. Angel at the desk was very friendly and helpful. Very hot shower was good pressure and a fairly comfortable bed.

Description is deceptive that it’s Queen size bed. It’s only a double size and they won’t switch room. Not that close to center. Noisy. Room is smokey even though it says non smoking because smoking is allowed right behind door and windows.

This isn't the hotel's fault, but just as an FYI for other travelers: there is a very noisy dog that lives next door and is chained up outside pretty much 24/7 (at least as of October/November 2023). It was whimpering and barking a lot, which did give us some frustrating nights. Again, nothing the hotel can really do about it, so this is more of a "be aware" than a complaint.

The hotel was just a 5-15 minute walk from Zócalo and the city's other major landmarks, as well as being very close to the bus station for longer journeys. The room itself was spacious and clean and the Wi-Fi consistently worked (that's a big point for me since I work online while traveling).
