- The shower isn't really hot. The water gets warm, but after one minute it gets cold and take another few minutes to heat up again, and it only lasts for another minute or so. Even if it's hot outside, the rooms are much cooler and I'm not a big fan of showering in cold water, especially early in the morning - Buy a very good mosquito repellant, the mosquitos are brutal around the pool

- Best hostel I stayed at in Mexico. The rooms are spacious, well ventilated, clean, and they look and feel nice (old building with high ceilings). I had plenty of space to have my suitcase open, with hangers for clothes, etc. - The hostel size is perfect, not too small, not too big, which makes it easier for socialising, even for someone like me who isn't super extroverted. People end up talking to each other in the communal tables, instead of sitting in little groups like hostel bars. - I met the nicest people at this hostel. Luckily there were no groups of super young people (more like between 25 - 35) - The pool is really nice and necessary. I thought I'd be busy and not use the pool, but I was so wrong and ended up spending a lot more time hanging out at the hostel, because it's simply impossible to be outside in Merida for too long in the summer. And I'm used to 40+ degrees, but this city is on another level due to the high humidity and lack of wind.

The pool was very green when we arrived and then the filter broke, they fixed it but it stayed really dirty for the rest of our stay which was a shame. The kitchen isn't super clean so doesn't really invite to cook in it.

Lovely private room, great atmosphere in the common area but not too loud for people who don't want to take part in the activities. Great tours that you can book. The room was very clean and was cleaned every day. Perfect location in the centre.

When I left there was no-one on reception to take my key and wristband. I had also enquired about booking a taxi to the train station the night before and was told that would be no problem but as there was noone there to do this I just left my key and wristband on the desk and had to book an Uber. I asked the cleaning staff and they were unable to help locate a manager.

The hostel is very well situated near the Santa Lucia central area of Merida. The room was comfortable and clean with a comfortable bed (dormitory)The kitchen area was good with fridges and equipment and clean.

The ac is directed toward the bed which isn't ideal. Seems to be common in Mexico though

The pool is big and there's free drinking water to avoid plastic waste. The private rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are clean as well

I had a private suite and excreted it to br cleaned at least one and even left the sign hanged at the knob

On thing was that on the first night they didn’t have space in the car park so we needed to pay for a private lot.

Great location, lovely staff, comfortable rooms. It’s a few blocks to the main square and surrounded by excellent restaurants.

More tables in the room will be good to organize your stuff. I really didnt like that they were outside tables near rooms because people went there late in the night and talked really loud. If it was not available those people would just go near the pool where its the farest from any rooms. The pool is not cleaned enough. They clean it at the end of the day but people enjoy during the day so morning cleaning would be better.

AC in the room is a must in Merida since its really hot almost all the time. Beds are comfy Alexis is a really good host and made people welcomed. The activities are well organised and very diverse. Staff speak really good English so its easy to communicate Pool is a nice add one to have during the hot days.

The cleanliness was on point, very comfy beds, the showers were clean and the rooms were with A/C which was amazing. Very helpful and friendly staff. The kitchen has sufficient pans/ustensils and is clean. The pool was also a very nice place to relax.
