Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

MexicoI don’t like when hotels have daily pet fees when they don’t provide anything to justify a daily charge. Very expensive at 375 mxn per day.

Location, location, location! We travel with our Corgi, and the beach right out front is perfect for her. It's also a great area for walking, with plenty of nearby restaurants to explore. The hotel’s restaurant is excellent, and the bar serves up a great drink. The parking is safe and secure if you're traveling with lots of gear. Check-in was smooth, and Margarita at the front desk was especially kind and helpful. This was our fourth visit—and it definitely won’t be our last!

CanadaNothing, it was a perfect rest for an overnight stay on our way up the Baja.
I gave it 10/10 because it was exactly as expected if you read the reviews, so I wasn’t expecting a holiday inn and didn’t want one (room was a bit dated and in need of a refresh) but comfortable, clean, dog friendly and right on the beach. Good value for the $.

LithuaniaI was really confused by breakfast staff as they randomly ignored some people, gave extra attention to others. Last day, I had to leave early and I was told that breakfast starts at 7am, I got there by 7:10am, nothing was ready :(( And, if you get a room that is between restaurant and bar, be aware of possible noise, there were children screaming outisde my room when I tried to go to sleep early :') But everything gets quiet at 10pm.
I really enjoyed the location and the fact that the place had a nice restaurant (with the most amazing staff!), it was beachfront so sunrises were beautiful, also the pool and the jacuzzi were excelent to hang out in.

United StatesSuper noisy first night, as the hotel is close to a local party spot where people blast loud music until 2:30 am. Another two nights, we had college students above us jumping up and down and screaming. Also, the staff was not always responsive. There's no button to turn on Jacuzzi jets yourself. You have to ask staff, and they didn't get around to it or took 30 or more minutes.
Get an ocean view room so you can see the sunrise every morning. Loved the beach location, the Jacuzzi, the nearby wetlands. Good breakfast with lots of choices, even for a vegan like me. I liked all the seating areas where you could look at the sea.

United StatesThe biggest drawback are the dogs. They belong to the property and aren’t aggressive. But they are still dogs and lots of them. They freely roam the on-site restaurant. Not our idea of “dining”. They’re also very assertive toward other dogs trespassing on “their” beach even though the nature preserve sign clearly says “NO DOGS”..local or visiting🤷♀️
The setting is perfect. It’s on the beach at the end of the malecón and the zone where locals “drag” in the evening. It abuts a nature reserve so birding is great. It’s easily walkable to any tourist elements and the city pier. The pool is lovely and miraculously there is a HOT hot tub ! Their breakfast buffet is outstanding.
