The location is wonderful. Sadly it is sargassum season we were not able to enjoy the amenities due to the smell Gracias produced by the sargassum. The beach area is nice more than anything. The staff very helpful. Pedro a gentleman in the front desk went above and beyond to help me out.

The property has everything is just outdated.

Nice hotel with the beach and many restaurants nearby. It's located at the closed area. To get to the nearest sightseeing location you need to take taxi on the territory.

We liked everything about our stay at the Beach Club, Puerto Aventuras. The staff is amazing! They are super friendly and helpful! Best service ever! The pool area is superb, there is also a plunger bar and restaurant designed in tasteful Japanese style serving Japanese cuisine. The food menus are simple with local twist and is exceptional. The drink menu has great choices with cocktails, beers and my favourite, clamato. Wine selection is also worth trying. We tried Mexican red wine and now it is one of my favourites. The top floor room that we stayed in could use a refresh but it was comfortable with Aircon and a fan, big shower and amazing view. There are lots of different areas available to relax at including the beach. The created reef protects the beach from direct waves making it very pleasant to swim in. We enjoyed trying all areas and had the most relaxing time especially by the pool where modern up eat music is played. The club/hotel is in the heart of the complex with plenty restaurants, shops and things to do. The best part is that no one day is the same. Highly recommend this lovely place with the friendliest staff!

There isn't anything we did not like. Everything was superb.

Hotel has been renovated few months ago and it is nice :-) beautiful view and pools

You can't open a tab on your bedroom which makes the "pool bar and restaurant" not a very nice experience (have to go get money in your bedroom to pay... they don't provide pool towel so you go back to your room wet and it is quite slippery)

We always enjoy this place for total relaxation. It is not an adventure destination but a great break if that's what you want.

There was a good deal of renovation going on at the time of our visit.

Beautiful location, lovely pool and beach access. There are some other bars and restaurants close by too. Rooms spacious. Didn't get to try the hot tub as only there for one night.

A mix up with putting charges to the room. This was not discussed at check in so when I ordered a drink at the bar and asked to put it on my room the waiter never completed the order but also didn't tell me what the problem was until I went back to ask. Better communication would be appreciated.

Beach is good, breakfast was slow, would be better to have open buffet.

Hotel is very old, shower, toilets need to be renewed. water pressure and temperature is an issue at shower.

    Location

There was a cockroach in our room. There was ongoing construction and jackhammering. The overall property is tired and needs some love. Even a little bit of pressure washing and landscape would help .The pool was very murky we didn't swim in it.

Common areas are beautiful and well maintained, room was comfy and spacious

Room needs a bit of maintenance, Ubers don’t reach the location. Food inside the hotel is expensive for what it is

The pool and the beach area were fabulous. A lovely swim up bar and plenty of beds even though it was Easter and busy. The staff were pleasant and the rooms were clean. Great location right next to all of the restaurants, bars and dolphinarium

It’s very dated and although the rooms were clean it looked faded and old. The shower was a trickle and the jacuzzi in the balcony was ancient. Bedrooms are in desperate need of a refurb. The breakfast rules were very rigid and we were allowed juice OR fruit but not both! Eggs to follow either fried or scrambled and a bread basket. Last feed days we were told we could have pancakes so the kids were elated shame they didn’t let us know at the beginning of the holiday! (At the weekend where there is a buffet) Perhaps yoghurt and cereal would be a simple addition on a daily basis to make it more enjoyable for exciting? Service is pleasant but very slow so be prepared to spend a while at breakfast.
