Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomToo busy looking with a lot of nick naks! Breakfast was a bit boring. Just an apple, a banana, some biscuits, coffee and tea provided as a to-go option.
Lovely to have water bottles provided, friendly staff, quick check in and great location. We were able to walk everywhere.

United StatesThe balcony was a bit in disarray, seemed that it needs a decent cleaning. Same with the chairs by the pool. For the rooms upstairs there is no elevator. That was not a problem for us (we knew), but may represent an issue for other people.
This was a small hotel right in the middle of Valladolid. 5 minutes to the main plaza, 5 minutes to the cenote that is located in the middle of the city. Our room (one with balcony), was spacious and clean. AC was appreciated as it was hot at night. You have to walk up stairs. The pool is tiny but very quaint. We had a free breakfast included which consisted in fresh coffee, fresh drink, fruits and a couple packets of cookies. it was simple but what we needed to start the day. The staff were all super nice (those we spoke to). They allowed us to keep our stuff at reception for us to go sightseeing and come back after checkout time. All in all, great value for money.

QatarA little dated in places. Old, dirty mattresses in hallways. Our booking included breakfast which was a very cheap, low quality take away packet.
Cute, charming hotel in a great location for exploring the central old town. Friendly, helpful staff, cute decor.

FinlandI would have appreciated a blanket in the room and somewhere to put the suitcase. We also had a big spider in our room, which made it seems less clean, but I guess they can come in anywhere. Parking arrangemrnts were a bit unclear, but there is also free parking on the side of the street.
Lovely pool area and great location. Friendly and helpful (but mostly Spanish-speaking) staff.

United StatesThe bathroom was very small, and the faucet was dirty. There was no refrigerator in the room, no chair or table. But the beds were comfortable.
The location was very convenient - absolutely a stone's throw from the town center. Parking across the street was convenient. Lots of restaurants nearby. Access to a swimming pool was a nice perk. Friendly staff.

CanadaThe hotel is locked during the night, but I they did not provide this sort of information. For those unfamiliar with Mexico it might be surprise that you have to knock to have the night porter let you in.
Very comfortable room in a good location at a very affordable price. Quality furnishings and a comfortable bed were the highlights. The bathroom was clean and had the basics. The hotel is a short walk from the town square and its not too much further to the bus station. Checking was easy and the staff were very helpful with Wifi instructions and answering questions about the town.

CanadaThe room felt a bit smaller than I was expecting from the pictures. A room with a bit more space would be nice, if available.
Very interesting decor - feels like a boutique hotel. Excellent location - It's very close to the public square, Cenote Zaci, ADO Bus Station, etc., so it is very convenient to explore what Valladolid has to offer.

HungaryOnly 2 negative things: They provided the price for the accomodation in USD but they only accepted to pay in MXN (not in USD) and they used a very bad exchange rate, I think it is not fare. They charge 90 MXN for parking. Except for these, the accomodation is greeat.
Great location, very close to city center. The room was clean, well-equipped and convenient. There is a pool which is also great.

We stayed here only to travel to Chichen Itza. The place was fine, quite beautiful on the inside. The location is quite close to everything and you can just walk around. The reception was very helpful when our car battery emptied and sorted it all out for us. All in all a nice experience.
