Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesWhat I didn’t like about the hotel was maybe the table in front of the restaurants on the way to the elevator where the tour people are constantly asking you. Also, I’m not a coffee drinker, but I am a morning person and not having a coffee pot or the option in the morning in the rooms might be a downfall because some of the hotel all of the hotel food and beverage are not open at the time that I am up. lol must mention from the view of my hotel room. the darker pools look a lot better, so when you repaint the pool, I would suggest you do it in a darker blue.
It all stated with excellent customer service from Pesvical. I kept a list of how many employees they have that gave us excellent customer service. The bell men David was next. The young bartender name, Jose in the Lobby bar. I didn’t even have to ask for my cranberry juice that I needed to mix with my medicine. The other bartender at the Coco bar named Omar was great . The food was good but the servers is what makes the restaurant experience even better. The first night we had a waiter tall gentleman with a name that started with the letter E I couldn’t remember his name. My daughter asked why there was no mango at the fruit salad bar and He asked her right away would you like some. He when into the kitchen and came back with the mango all cut up for her. That’s when I decided that I would start writing down these exceptional employees names. The following day we had a breakfast and the waitress named Lourdes even when she was not our waitress on other days she would help us out. Jesus is other the waiter that goes above and beyond as well. Great events throughout the pool day. Awesome!

The many options were overwhelming. When I didn't see fried eggs I asked and the cook responded, of course. Good service.

MexicoMostly the loud music until 2 am from the disco. There is no no location from our wing where it is not heard. And sometimes there are only few people in there and everyone against there will must listen to it. It should be just loud enough so that people can enjoy and relax without having to wait until 2 am. The pool is usually overcrowded during schools holidays. Not fitted for swimmers.
The personnel is very outgoing. Always friendly with a smile. Always helpful. The balcony and views. The food was always plenty. Lots of variations and good.

United StatesUnpredictable hours across the on site restaurants - closed for breakfast twice when expected to be open. Fairly limited food options on site. Biggest issue was the high number of rowdy children everywhere in the pool, splashing and screaming. Many families with numerous children of all ages - infants to teenagers. The only swim-up bar was consistently crowded with numerous teenagers drinking what appeared to be N/A drinks, when the fact that you must be 18 is clearly posted. Many of these appear to be locals, so unlikely to be a language issue.
Location was fine - a little farther from the town than we are used to in this area, but this was expected. The beach is fantastic, and similar across all hotels along this beach. The pool was reasonably clean throughout our stay.

CanadaFood was underwhelming. Rice at every buffet. Rooms were musty, could see black mold throughout the room, and just tried to hide by painting over it. Patio door did not close all the way.
Staff are very friendly and helpful, daily room cleaning was appreciated. Beautiful beach and close walk into the main town.
