We wanted to pay the rooms with different methods and they told us, we couldn’t. In the end they help us and work out well. Hotel does not have a parking on site or valet parking servicie which would be very helpful on your arrival day. Lastly, not all restaurants in the area that we saw previous to our arrival were open on New Year’s Eve, this made our new year’s dinner stressful, as the few options open were packed, not the hotels fault but it should be mentioned on the page so all visitors can be peeper.

We were a family of eight that booked for new year’s eve. One thing that we absolutely love was the location. So convenient to walk into the downtown. Right next door, there is market with delicious food and reasonably prices. Previous to our arrival send a request to ask for rooms close to each other and we got them! How cool is that!. Had a little inconvenience with hot water in one of the rooms and it got fixed right away. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We did enjoy our stay and for sure we will come back!

I like everything and do not have any disappointments.

I was amazed by furniture all over the property! It remain me Versal or even Louvre and it impressed my imagination... Plus the rooms have theirs own names! It's so interesting and unusual that makes this place very unique.

Hard to find, the place has a different name. The room wasn’t pleasant at all, very uncomfortable. The gave us the last room all the way to the top of the old building,no hot water.

The staff gave us different rooms than we had booked due to maintenance issues in the building. But they didn't inform us about this relocation, which meant, that we suddenly had to move around which caused confusion and discomfort. Furthermore, they suddenly demanded that we had to pay a lot of extra money for a better room, which we hadn't chosen ourselves - it was them, whom had made us take the room due to their problems in the building. The way the communicated to us made us very uncomfortable, and we felt forced to pay a fee, that was unjustified. We cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.

So bad

So bad , it was no hot water and all night licking hot water because the past leaking water all night was humidity all night I tell the manager change the room but he tell me he’s manager refused to do that so the hotel make my trip horrible horrible. I think they have to give me my money back because it’s fair.

We unfortunately had to switch accommodation halfway through our stay (after 4 nights). The rooms are all facing the main hall so it’s super noisy when people are there. There was also a cockroach in our room and no hot water in the shower. We asked if we could switch rooms as I saw they had another one available on booking but the receptionist told us that’s not possible so we booked another accommodation in Oaxaca for the remaining 4 nights of our stay. When we were giving the keys back, there was another woman on reception who was so lovely and offered us the available room but it was too late to cancel our new accommodation or we would have lost money on that too and it was more expensive. It’s a shame she wasn’t working that morning as she did so much to try and resolve the situation for us ! Would only recommend staying here if you need a central location and not staying very long in Oaxaca.

The location is great it’s really close to the centre and right beside two huge markets.

The full hotel and the street were under renovation. This meant dust everywhere and not being able to use the patio - which was one of the main features/facilities of the hotel. Also we were supposed to have breakfast included but it ended up be only coffee and bread. For everything else we had to pay. More clarity on these restrictions would have been appreciated

Location was really good. The room we booked had Some serious problems (humidity, bathroom, lack of ventilation, no window) and the staff moved us to another room to help us.

Water problems. The day we arrived, we didn’t have any water in our room. It wasn’t until we had a leak on the floor in our room did they move us to a room with water. They kept saying they were working on it and that it would be fixed soon but yet it was almost 24 hours with no water. We moved, our other was not provided with alternative accommodations. It was pretty unacceptable. If a place has no water, it shouldn’t be open. The next day we had to move again because when we returned, people were working in our new room and we had to move again. It was like the hotel wasn’t ready to be a hotel. Staff were nice. They also said they had free breakfast but that was basically toast and a coffee. Nothing else. Not really breakfast. No coffee refill.

Property was generally elegant in a garage sale kind of way. Didn’t make a lot of sense but lots of interesting antiques. Staff was generally nice.

Rooms on the top floor are reached through a narrow passage as seen in the picture. I've never seen anything like this before. Noise in the pipes was unbearable, it could easily wake the dead. Breakfast was two slices of toast bread (not fresh, straight from the supermarket) with tiny portion of jam and butter. One portion, for two slices of bread... And last, there was damp smell in the bathroom.

It's only two blocks away from Zocalo. Wi-fi signal was strong.

Staff for evening completely rude, seemed like he didn't want to be there. Had to wait excatly @3pm for check in when hotel was completely empty which wasted half our day, bad experience.

There was so many local anad close things to the hotel, such as the mercados and food places. Buffet accorss the hotel is super good and cheap

They could put earlier the breakfast, not starting from 8:30 . Or they could add the option to make packets in case you leave earlier

The bathroom wasn't clean, it could use some renovation.I understand that the bathroom's condition is not ideal. It's important to have a clean and refreshing space. Perhaps some updates and a deep clean would make a significant difference. A little effort in that area can greatly enhance comfort and enjoyment. Thank you for your understanding.

Alot of people out side shopping but its in the heart of the shopping district and only two blocks from city center so it was expected
