The design of the place is super, the rooms are very large and nice. The location in the heart of Merida was excellent!

Very loud music in the backyard all day + sound of AC in backyard all day disturbing the peaceful place. The rooms are facing the Main Street, the doors to the balcony are only made of wood who aren’t soundproof and the only source of natural daylight. So during th day you keep them closed because of heat (= dark in room) and during night to not hear the very loud surrounding of the street.

The breakfast patio was great, but the choices of what to eat were limited. It's not a big problem — there are lots of great places within walking distance nearby.

Great location, right in the city centre—lots of activities nearby. The rooms were exceptionally clean and cosy. I didn’t get the chance to explore all of the amenities, but I’m happy with my stay there nonetheless. I’ll probably be back!

Some rooms face 60th St. which is VERY busy and there's no sound isolation. If you're a light sleeper, you probably need to request an interior room. My bathroom was smallish, but well appointed.

Great location, great historic building. Understated from the outside. The patio is gorgeous, same with the breakfast/lobby area if you're in need of a break from the heat.

Service for breakfast is not so great. We had to grab our own coffee craft to serve ourselves coffee. We also had to find cups and utensils for our table.

The breakfast at the hotel was lovely. Nice coffee, fruit and yogurt then eggs of your choice, toast and jam - all sat in the lovely courtyard/garden area.

Loud street in front (no glass windows…), traffic noise comes unfiltered. Parking (valet for 160 pesos per day) is very complicated. When we wanted to make use of it we should have waited for 25 min circling in the streets with the car…

Breakfast lacked Vegetarian options.

Perfect location, just a short distance from all the key attractions, and the staff was incredibly helpful. However, the breakfast lacked variety, and there was no buffet option available.

We upgraded our room assuming the balcony over the square was going to be a perk. However the room was very tiny and the “balcony” was not over the square but over a noisy street. It was not a balcony per se but a big window that opened. Not big enough to sit outside. There were big beautiful rooms so my suggestion is to ensure you make your room selection with care. There no where to sit other than the bed.

The location was great for walking around. The “Old World” architecture was amazing. The staff were great. Very accommodating. The matrimonial bed was comfortable. Food was good especially in the lovely garden.

Food was not good at all! Tacos de picaña, absolutely salty, tuetano was the worst I ever tried, not properly cooked, I am used to eat tuetano and believe me this was not properly done. Truffled chips, I wasn’t sure they were truly “truffled” I mention this to the waiter, and it seems to be he didn’t know what to say or even just try to say “sorry” again, pricing is not up to par with service delivery and quality, I assume my previous night sandwich was not charged because of this incident. Bathroom Sink, handle is switched, cold runs actually hot and viceversa, there is no sink plug therefore bad smells come from it during the night. Bathroom glass has mold on it

Location! So close to iconic touristic places Staff in general is sweet and kind, although they could need some guidance to be oriented on high-end service considering this hotel is advertised as a “Boutique” one and rates are high. I arrived late and the front desk agent was so nice, he had my overnight sandwich ready that I sincerely appreciated after a long day trip.
