More of a guest house rather than a hotel. Breakfast served in a sister hotel. Juices, cereals etc were fine but hot food offering was not appealing and often lukewarm.

The king size room was rather small. Breakfast was at another hotel. The room was hot at night even with the fan. The doors to the balcony had to stay closed due to the noise and pollution from the cars and busses. The double rooms facing the side street are much bigger and probably much better.

Cozy room and great location. Very friendly, helpful, and professional staff. The shower was wonderful; the pressure and temperature were better than home. If you are staying in Guanajuato Centro, you should know that you should not expect it to be quiet. This is a very lively city, especially downtown and on the weekends. You will not escape thumping music from clubs or passing vehicles, and it is very common to last until 3-4AM. This is not a problem of the hotel. In fact, of the three places I have stayed in Guanajuato Centro, this hotel's soundproofing very well done and actually the best. However, if you are averse to noise, be prepared with realistic expectations. This will be an issue to varying degree no matter what hotel you stay in Centro. I also never saw a single insect anywhere in the hotel, and we had the windows open a lot. Breakfast is served up in a neighboring hotel across the street (they are all part of the same group). It is buffet style, and I thought it was very good, especially the eggs and coffee. Overall, this was an excellent hotel to stay, and the price was great, as well. Highly recommended.

There was no heat in the room. I stayed in January, so the temperature at night was about 10 degrees, or there were moments when the futon in the room felt cold.

The male staff at the front desk in the afternoon made various arrangements with the driver in Spanish when I left something at Uber, which was very helpful.The room was very well organized, Location is perfect.

We liked everything and we even extended our stay. The only minor inconvenience is that the balcony door was a bit tricky to close, but ok once we got the hang of it. Also, it would be nice to have access to tea/coffee in the room. Overall our stay was super enjoyable though.

Perfect location, right in the centre near Plaza de la paz. We had a room facing a side alley, it had a quaint view and was quiet.
