Delicious breakfast included. Can walk to the lake and very close to many restaurants and cafes. Town’s main square is across the street. Bus stop is within feet, taxi zone across the street. Very convenient location

I had a problem the first night. My bed was too soft and I had back pain. I told the Manager and he moved me to a much better bedroom and bed. The hotel is off the main street of Lake Chapala. It was also right near the walkway next to the lake. There were a number of restaurants nearby. I say this because when in the Hotel it was totally quiet. And I'm someone who needs a quiet room to be able to sleep. I had no problems. The breakfast was included and there were a few choices. I always had the same thing and it was always very well cooked and there was a willingness to make a few changes. As an aside - the staff was very friendly and helpful. I'd be happy to stay there again if I returned.

Because it’s on the Main Street the noise can be a little loud. It quiets down after 11pm & the hotel leaves ear plugs— but be aware it’s what you get when you wait to be near the main area of town.

I would say that the only bad thing was that there was no elevator. We had to climb 3 flights of stairs to get to our room. But the grounds were beautiful.

A couple of rooms were noisy, and there were a few surprising charges, it felt like at times they were nickel and diming you. I had to be moved from my room 3 times during my stay, which made it very uncomfortable, and they seemed to be not very accommodating when the request was made. Our first room was so noisy that it made it impossible to sleep through the night. I didn't get a change of room until I told the owner that I requested Booking to relocate me to a different hotel. We had a great room in the back of the property and my stay would've been great if we had stayed there. The jacuzzi only worked for 2 days out of 5 days I stayed there. The staff seem to understand the service well, but management was too strict. I did make a request when I made the reservation to be in a room away from the front of the hotel, and it wasn't granted, I got a confirmation from the property. There should be a disclaimer regarding the rooms facing the street, about the level of noise. The property provided ear plugs that don't work.

Love the staff and how incredibly wonderful they were. Lucy, Veronica, Ali, and Berenice; were incredible. I felt so well served and treated every single day of my stay. This is a property that is centrally located, walking distance to the lake and plaza.

Nice hotel on Main Street. perfect for visiting downtown Chapala. Clean and attractive. Breakfast was ample with choice from 8 entries. Great shower and bed. Public parking around the corner and staff helped us with our luggage. The car was hit by another driver in the parking lot and the hotel manager negotiated with them to pay for damages. Good restaurant nearby El Fogon. Beautiful back yard.
