Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe room was on the road so could be a little loud but I had ear plugs for sleeping so that was fine No hot water in the shower but it was also ok as it was hot outside The bed wasn’t very comfortable, very soft mattress and too big pillows
The room was super nice, very clean with a fridge and huge bed. The owner was very kind and let me check in early and check out late without a charge :)

United KingdomVery close to the main road, which becomes noisy fairly early. Earplugs are a bonus here! Also dogs and cockerels in the vicinity, but I'm sure that would be the same everywhere
Location was great as it was a very short walk to the beach. The owner was kind and accommodating. The room had 2 fans, which were not too noisy. Bed was huge and comfy, though one side had a bit of a dip. Good value considering its proximity to the beach. Beachside places were SO expensive!

United StatesThe internet isn't that good at the. property and quite often the internet shuts down in all of Manzunte for hours. I didn't like the artificial fragrance of the cleaning soap they used in the bathroom. The balcony is very narrow and right on the road, so to me--it wasn't really an asset.
The room I had was spacious, clean, nice linens and towels and had a refrigerator. It was right on the main road, so there were times of trucks going by, and dogs barking, etc. But the fans blocked out most of the outer sounds. I was very happy with this room. Great value for the money. Bed was great! And this room had a sitting area with a couch and wonderful upholstered chair perfect for my meditations. It also had a table for eating.

Netherlands- We did not like the way we were received. It felt quite transactional, desinterested and not welcoming. - At some point there was a power cut for 12 hours, starting at 4 AM. This meant no fans, no electricity to charge phones, no wifi for most of it and a really, really hot room (our main issue), making it impossible to sleep. The way this was handled was disappointing. No compensation was offered, even though we asked for it (just 100-200 pesos, about 5-9 euros) — just as a form of recognizing the discomfort. (We would have given the money to the cleaner, which we still did, but from our own pockets.) The owner told us to seek compensation from the electricity company, but legally speaking, the hotel is responsible for providing the promised service. Anyway, we had already paid upfront, so there wasn’t much we could do about it. - Also, the Wi-Fi is really slow—so slow that at times, it didn’t work at all. - Other things to take into account: the rooms are really noisy. You can hear almost everything because the windows are the wooden slits type, so a lot of light and sound can enter. - Also, there is no hot water in the room (we didn’t mind though because it was so warm outside). - When we texted our feedback, we never received a response, which is very telling for that feeling of 'not feeling at home'. I would not come here again or recommend it to anyone else, which is why I’ve given it a 4/10. In comparison, Una Posada Más actually seemed like a much nicer place to stay (we kept walking past it; it had a lot of green shared spaces with hammocks, and a service desk with some very friendly people, and a couple minutes away from the nice beach).
- The accomodation offers a good price-quality ratio. - The room is clean. - The bed is big and comfortable. - The accommodation was good enough at first, so we even stayed longer (at a discounted rate, which is sweet and definitely appreciated, but a lot of places were offering discounts, as there was a lot of vacancy).

United StatesProximity to the street- the room faced a large speedbump just outside which every vehicle was forced to stop for, gear down, and then proceed, often making a lot of noise. The room was very hot, requiring two powerful fans which stirred the air but didn't cool. Due to the heat, the two doors and two windows had to be left open all night. Only one of these had a screen , so insects bit me all night long in the bed. On top of the heat and the mosquitos, there were dogs barking on or near the property through the day and all night long. After the first of two nights here, I asked the manager, courteously, to reduce my stay to the night already served. She would not even discuss it. I think that, during winter high season, these problems, other than the dogs, may not exist. But, I would not return to this property unless some substancial upgrades were made to the room.
Room was spacious and clean. Large bed had good mattress. Easy to walk to the beach and restauants from the room.
