How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The off-site, main manager is a terrible human. The Wi-Fi was out the last few days I was there, and the way they installed new routers in the middle of the building the end units weren't connecting at all. Maybe they will fix that.
I liked the everyday staff, and the location. Both were great. It's not perfect but for the price it's a great value. The Serta mattresses were the best I have seen in 4 years in Mexico.

The bathroom was not as clean as I expected. The detergent they use to wash the towels and blankets smells very strong, it smells clean but the aroma is very strong
The hotel is very well located. There is always someone available at the front desk. The room is spacious.

The shower was rusty and the pressure very low. We couldn’t get the smart TV to work. The rooms were not well sound-proofed so you could hear chatting/walking in the corridors at night.
The best thing about this hotel was the location, very close to the centre of town. The rooms were basic, but had good A/C. The reception was always staffed and had snacks/water if needed.

The staff not very friendly although they allow me to get into the room earlier…but forgot to give me remote for air-con and i was so tired that just slept with the noisy fun…next day when I left the receptionist was a different person and was asking rudely for remotes that were not given…a bit extrange…also the sink was broken.

There was quite a lot of mould in our room behind the bed, and the smell was quite intense... So if you have concerns about damp or any health conditions it might not be the best fit
The location is really central and close to most things. The room had aircon and the beds were relatively comfortable, if a little on the hard side.

Other guests arrived back around 2.30am and made a great deal of noise, waking me, and others, Im sure,.This went on for quite a while and no effort seemed to be made to stop it. When I mentioned the disturbance the following morning at reception I got no response from the guy at the desk.
Location was pretty good. Hotel was clean and well run. Check in was efficient. Staff were courteous.Bed was comfortable .

We couldn’t check in until 4 pm but no explanation given as to why, the shower was blocked and didn’t drain and the bed was uncomfortable

Bad lighting in room (dim lamp), no option to stop the natural light from entering in the room.
Simple rooms with good AC in good location. Water and coffee available.

The wifi could have been better in my room. Lower level (Planta bajo) said it couldn't connect
Great area... My room was nice, others I'm not sure. I was on the far side so the wifi wasn't super strong in this room but it was manageable. No complaints at all, very clean feeling, great mattress, nice staff, and in one of the best neighborhood in Centro. 4 blocks from Plaza Grande and Cathedral.

The room is hot and the windows of the room can’t be open, the air con is poorly positioned and cools directly in your face and ears, very uncomfortable. If the windows could be opened, it would greatly improve the experience of this room.
