There was really nice shared facilities such as a roof top deck and picnic area as well as a grill. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, sometimes on the colder side but extra blankets were available upon request.

The sheets were dirty when we arrived, however we were given fresh ones when we raised it to the staff member. Staffing is not 24/7, giving the place a ‘motel’ feel. The car park is very muddy - needs some improvement. The gate has no sign… perplexing!

Cheap option within walking distance of the centre. Safe parking on-site, perfect as a stop over on the way to the hills.

No windows in our room. Very sparsely decorated room - no hangers or drawers. The whole bathroom got flooded every time we took a shower. Wifi shut down for minutes or hours every day we stayed there - it was not the hotel wifi, but the external internet connection.

Clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated room. Friendly and accommodating staff. Several outside seating areas. Secure gated parking. Decent wifi - when it's working. Within easy walking distance to downtown - little over 2 km from the trailhead leading up to Peña de Bernal on the opposite side of town. There are no signs on the street indicating the place is a hotel, but it is the second gate on your lefthand side about 100 meters down the street, when you enter from the south.

No window in my room. The hotel should add a sign outside that indicates the name of the hotel because there is nothing and the location is not that obvious to find with Google map !

It is a good place to stay for a night or two. Walkable to the main street (maybe a bit far from the center). Room was okay, nothing special but spacious. Hot water and water pressure excellent.

Rooms are advertised with either a mountain or city view. NONE of the rooms have any view at all or a patio. Rooms are also advertised with fridge, microwave etc but not there although there is a microwave on the first floor.

The rooms have been upgraded recently so lovely, modern and clean. Outside spaces nicely landscaped. It’s a short walk to the centre, but it’s a very small town so not a problem.

There was no hot water in one of 2 rooms we booked, and the receptionist just said “it should be were” and refused to check it out. It’s really noisy on the street, arrive huge trucks, locals listen loud music from their cars. Around 10 pm the receptionist was giving a tour to his friends right in front our door, listening very loudly the music from the Bluetooth speaker. There is an uncovered window in the bathroom, so if you are traveling in summer bring some mosquito repellent with you. The location is not that bad, it’s very near from the downtown, but you will need to pass some bad looking streets to reach it out.

When booked, the reservation stipulated a free of charge bottle of wine that should be included, this was never provided and on the contrary, when asked we are treated inadequately. The property sells <Americano< which is just hot water and nescafe. The wifi was not working in the room.

The fact that the hotel was not that expensive for one night and that apparently we could pay directly on our arrival at the hotel, (being the arrival possible until 23:00 hrs) made me book this accommodation. In the moment of the reservation, I included in the message our arrival time to avoid issues with it. However the hotel not only did not respect the conditions they offered as they sent a message via Whatsapp (not even through Booking) to change unilaterally the booking conditions. They asked to make a transfer to a bank account which was included until a certain hour or they would cancel the reservation. As we did not receive the message because we were on our way, our booking was cancelled and we had to look for another hotel (at night with family). The receptionist had a very rude, unpolite, and disrespectful behaviour, did not offer any help at all and did not even accept to help us look for another accommodation. In the end, they called the police instead of calling the manager. The police were so kind, that they were the ones that looked for accommodation for us! Unbelievable!

The booking conditions seemed to be good (prize and paying at the arrival at the hotel), but the hotel changed the conditions out of the booking platform unilaterally (using whatsapp) which is not legal. We did not receive the message and cancelled our reservation. At the moment we arrived there they informed us about the cancellation.

The property was nice and clean. Just minutes away (walking) from the center of Bernal. The hotel staff was very kind and amicable.
