It gets cold so we needed to request an extra blanket on day 1, and the blankets that were given to us were old and torn… and so were the towels. Some people complain about the noise and it’s true, it is noisy from Wednesday to Sundays because there’s an Argentinian restaurant downstairs that offers dancing lessons (Tango) and there’s a bar/pub next door that gets quite busy and people are loud.

The location is great! Few blocks away from the metro station (Cuauhtémoc) and La Reforma (the Main Street of CDMX).

This time I stayed in the room with two twin beds and it wasnt as nice as the rooms with a single bed. The water took a while to heat up.

I have stayed in many ocassion at this place. I think that for the price is good, clean, good staff and the rooms are very comfortable.

Noisy cause next door bar

Unfortunately, there were several aspects of the stay that didn’t meet expectations. The photos on the website do not reflect the actual condition of the property, which creates a misleading impression — honesty in presentation is essential, as it directly impacts guest expectations. While the cleanliness was acceptable, the accommodations are very dated and in need of renovation. Additionally, the staff, especially those working during breakfast, were not friendly or welcoming, which affected the overall experience.

This accommodation offers great value for money, especially for those looking to spend less while staying in a well-located area. The space is simple but meets the essentials — ideal for travelers who prioritize convenience and easy access to services and transportation, even if it comes with some limitations in comfort.

Lack of air conditioning

Every night there was a loud party in café next to hotel, that was a little disturbing. Breakfast is very average, pre-made.

Room didn’t look exactly like the pictures. It was okay for the price we paid, but beds weren’t the most comfortable, power outlets didn’t work, and the room was a bit hot. No AC, just a ceiling fan which didn’t keep the room fresh enough.

Location is just perfect, very close to the best neighborhoods and you can walk to different restaurantes, bars and cafes. We had the included breakfast once and it was pretty good. Our room was cleaned every day during our stay.

Super location, colourful environment with a positive energy once you enter. Would have no hesitation recommending this hotel. There is a restaurant downstairs , which can easy be mistaken as entry level for the hotel WI. -fi seemed to drop at night time Black out curtains would be a good addition

I was lucky to have a very large room with two queen size beds. Room was clean and spacious though rather basic. It’s obviously an old hotel which I believe has been acquired by a larger chain as it has several names. The room had no telephone, exceptionally hard beds and pillows, no hotel information guide and very poor wifi. On the plus side my room on the 4th floor was very quiet so I managed to get some good rest albeit on a very hard flat bed 🛌

Some parts could be slowly modernised

The staff worked hard to ensure we had a great stay. They were quick to offer solutions. Great location in a quiet part of the city but easy access to other parts. Good food nearby.

A tad bit noisy and and the bed was slightly uncomfortable, but nothing that was too disruptive and still very pleasant for the price.

Everything! Great price, clean, friendly staff, plenty of hot water, good location. I liked that we were able to use the lock box downstairs for valuables. The room was quite spacious.
