Great location, friendly staff, affordable.

Cleanliness was okay. Old building. Sheet was stained. Bed was uncomfortable.

Room had no running water. Hotel had no clean water available. Not clean.

The wifi was reliable and they have a good location. Someone was at the front desk 24hrs.

The room was filthy. The floors were completely unswept. The bathroom floor stayed wet even hours after a shower (I think there was a leak from the sink). The shower had hot water sometimes. The hot water was always very little or low pressure and sometimes it would disappear altogether without warning. The electronics were bizarre. The A/C remote would work only after pressing the same button 50 times and the only way to turn off the A/C was to flip the main breaker switch. The TV remote was similar; it would only work sometimes. There were these small insects (I hope they were only ants; I'm not sure) that were all over the floors and beds every day and night. They have no balcony or terrace. What they do have is a corridor inside the hotel from which to access the rooms on the 2nd floor. No scenic views from this corridor. Their cleaning crew would sweep up trash outside of my door everyday and just leave it there. Inevitably, much of the trash would follow me into my room. This place has MAJOR ISSUES with cleanliness. And it certainly is not worth the $36USD/per night that I paid for it. Find somewhere else to stay.

That you rated it much higher than it is Toilet won’t flush, sloppy finishes, had to ask or get my own towel. No English at all. Never greeted and oldly asked when I was leaving. It was dirty I have so many photos of bent plastic hangers the free with outfit , Hair balls in the closet , stains on the tiles , I had to use my own clothing not to slip after a shower , holes around outlets, oh a cable is next to nothing.

The front desk staff are very kind and accommodating. The location is very central and a short walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach. The hotel provides drinking water which is in the hallway to fill up your water bottle etc. The staff keep the hotel quite clean despite it being an old hotel. I appreciate that the towels are bleached so they smell very clean.

This hotel is bare bones which in fairness we expected for the price but at the very least the hotel should provide a decent good quality bed. The mattress & pillows were absolutely horrible and need to be replaced. Lumpy, old and very hard. The sheets felt like sandpaper (very low quality) and some were so worn out you could almost see through where the material had worn thin. We could barely sleep the entire week and woke up several times every night due to discomfort. No bathmat for the shower was provided and no hand towel either. There were tiny insects in the bathroom as well as the room. We prepaid the whole week which was a HUGE mistake. We didn't want to lose the money we paid so we stayed BUT it was a VERY uncomfortable stay. Again the staff was very kind but we could NOT stay in this hotel again. An investment by the management in some new beds and bedding would go a long way to greatly improve the comfort of your guests.

I discovered one of the BEST pizza I've had anywhere, only 1 block away, OSTERIA ITALIANA on Calle 29. And I've eaten pizza all over the world
