Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SpainAll was good. Lighting of the rooms could be improved with a warmer tone of white.
The location is quite centric to visit the city. The property is rather new and well renovated with all you need. Staff is quite helpful.

MexicoWell, fine for young healthy & physically able. However, at 71, with some equilibrium issues after surviving strokes, there is an internal stairway (actually in the room) as the bed is on a mezzanine above, that is rather hazardous to negotiate. I wouldn’t recommend or return, just for that. No coffee (but there was herb tea & hot water). WiFi was barely serviceable and continuously dropped. No parking (nor parking arrangements). Hard bed. Poor lighting scheme - just 1 powerful ceiling light - not good for reading. Only 1 seat - no place to sit and relax. Toilet seat unattached. And finally a mini split with a heat function, which however only heated in the 30° C temp. And which wouldn’t turn off. So, in nice temps, if you’re young and athletic, it’s a good value. If comfort and safety matter, look elsewhere.
Location OK, place is an attractive restoration of an old city home. Staff woman, very cordial and welcoming. Quiet.

United StatesLACK OF VIDEO CAMERAS. I only saw two in the entire property, and no camera at entrance, always super important. Hot water in shower DID NOT WORK. So no shower for the two nights I was there.
The good: location is near the center of GDL. The room itself was nicely positioned with bed up above in high ceiling room. Room had a safe box, fridge, etc. I would consider a small couch for guest to relax, otherwise, not much seating. Kitchen is equipped enough to cook in, but no fridge.

ItalyNot possible to sleep! Room was too noisy to sleep due to being directly on the street and no proper windows to keep noise out. We asked for a different room but we had to pay extra.

Czech Republiccold water in the shower and our room no. 7 was moldy above the bed, which is a real problem if you have allergies, the room has no openable window..in order to let air in, you need to keep the door open from the courtyard which is not ideal. The place has lots of promise, but many details need to be fixed (eg. you cannot have a room with a window that cant be opened and thus create a humid/moldy environment).
the courtyard is very cute, the overall place is lovely but...

United StatesLeaving!
And historic building restored to make a boutique hotel. Although historic the rooms are modern, the bathrooms look brand new and the bedding is first class. It's a few blocks from colorful nightlife. Its walkable to the cathedral. A bus line is right outside. Love this place at a great price!

United StatesNo. Nothing. It is perfect.
So, there will be no negative comments on this property. The location is perfect, a few blocks from El Centro. Any time of day or night, you can walk and it is safe and bright. The security is top level. Two blocks from the hacienda is a terrific minisuper with everything you need, and the girls there are so friendly. 4 blocks is av Juárez, which is the main avenue. The room I stayed in (10) on the street is my favorite, but if you do not like street noise, you can stay by the pool. I love the noise. The mattresses are new, and so comfortable. There is a fridge in the room, and the water is HOT in the shower. The managers are so responsive, within a few minutes usually if there is an issue. I am coming back for a few weeks, this is a place that you will come back to again and again. Safe, comfortable, and beautiful.
