It is a nice family hotel well located. They have a parking inside the hotel which is handy. For a short stay, it is basic and does the job. They have also a water fountain

Room was fantastic with a huge bed and nice bathroom. Staff very friendly helped us check in early and with some information on where to go. Very close to the centre of town and promenade for walking. A/C worked great and shower was hot all the time.

Didn't have very big windows, only high up, but that was fine, fan and aircon kept us comfy. Faciaitles small, so if you're tall you may struggle, but otherwise will be fine.

Stayed a night while travelling, very nice cosy place, had stayed in central Campceh before, so enjoyed this quiet area that was a very short walk, 5 mins, from the central area. Hotel is simple but clean with helpful staff. WIFI fine, fan and aircon worked well, we had a small double which was fine for a night, but perhaps a bit small for longer. Bathroom fine, plenty of hot water, soap, shampoo and water in the room. Hotel is old wooden and has some a cool retro vibe about it, easy to find, felt secure and staff on duty who were helpful.

Was quite basic but this was fine for the price

Stayed at Hotel Rath for two nights. PROS VALUE - We paid 1100 mexican peso for this stay through booking.com. I noted that the rates online were a lot cheaper than those advertised at reception so keep this in mind if considering a stay here. WIFI - Worked HOT WATER - Worked SECURITY - There was someone on reception all the time we were there. The rooms locked and also had a door chain. LOCATION - It was within walking distance to the centre of the historico district and malecon so we didnt need to taxi anywhere once we were at the hotel. It was about 3km from the ado bus terminal so we did need a taxi from there - the cost was 50 peso. ROOM - We were in room 20 and I think we may have been upgraded to a king bed. I thought the bed was comfortable and clean. The hotel itself is a little bit older and so could probably use a bit of paint but was otherwise adequate. The room size was fine but once again I’m not sure if we were upgraded. SERVICE - Staff were very friendly and spoke great english COMPLEMENTARY COFFEE/WATER - Communal water refill station at reception which produced both cold water and boiling water (for coffee). Small touch but was appreciated. AIR CONDITIONING - Worked really well which was important as Campeche was quite hot when we visited in August and we needed to retreat to the room for the afternoons when it became too much. Overall given the relatively cheap cost (particularly in contrast to its competitors) I was happy with this hotel.

During our stay there was a renovation taking place and these guys were constantly banging things. It was during the day, not that they have choice to do it any other time but it was still annoying.

The location was great, just outside of the wall but still close to the actions.

Nothing really. I mean I'm personally not a huge fan on old furniture but that's not really a complaint. Maybe the bathroom could be bigger but still it was absolutely fine for a budget hotel. Can't really complain about anything.

Definitely a nice place to stay in Champeche and on the rather lower end of the price range. The staff was very nice and spoke good English. The location is also very good. It feels safe even at night and there is a little restaurant around the corner. It is also very close to Campeche's gorgeous old town. The wifi connection was good and the room was also clean.

Currently under renovation, the hotel offers a mix of renovated and old rooms… for example ours got no water and hot water.. 😟 The staff gently offers us to shower in another room. Bottom line, it was not worth the price.

Good position of the hotel 5 min walk from the city center. We planned a longer stay in the hotel but we left immediatly after the first night. Service was terrible, and people at the receptions not welcoming and not available to listen to our needs. We communicated by phone in advance that due to a change of our plan we would arrive the day after, we didn't get any refund... but that's ok since it was in the booking... but at the end we payed really too much for what the hotel was offering... in our room we even did not get towels for after shower, and during the night was not possible to sleep due to noisy coming from other rooms...I would opt to other hotels...

The air conditioning didn't work at first, an employee had to repair it The fan was basically non-functional and very loud There was constant ambient noise from an unknown location during night time The shower was too low The room heated back up very quickly whenever you turned the air conditioning off Overall decent value for money but it seemed a little dilapidated

We were able to check in at 4am, it has a 24 hour reception. The employees were very helpful, one called us a taxi when we checked out Location was nice
