Not even breakfast is on site contrary to the site. We had to go outside and pay much more for eggs and hotcakes. Just basic and one can hear all the cars in the streets. Not even a curtain on one of the windows. Beds were small in the room supposedly for 3. Had to book an extra room for the 2nd night. Would have moved if we'd stayed longer. No pool. No garden. No service. No breakfast. Basic bathroom with poor lighting.

The hotel is located on a busy street. I had a room overlooking the street and it was noisy at night. Not a big problem, but might disturb a light sleeper.

Unfortunately like most hotels, there is a problem with the plumbing and a smell that comes from the drain after showering. It is on a surprisingly busy road and gets quite noisy at night with traffic noise. The wifi was also very slow in our room but we were able to connect in the common area

Location was amazing for our trip to Valladolid, restaurants and bus station were all within walking distance. The bed was comfortable and the room was extremely clean. The room was the largest we had during our Mexico trip and even had a couch. Hotel employees were very nice and accommodating.

*The windows of the room was not getting much day light. * The water in the shower had a weird smell. Not as bad as what I experienced in the hotels in Iceland where the water was smelling like rotten eggs. The reason of this smelly water in Iceland was because they were using the natural underground waters which contains so much sulfur. But I really don't know the reason of the smell in this hotel in Valladolid. Maybe they are using some sort of underground water as well. I don't know. But as I told you before, the smell was not too bad for me. I just wanted to mention it just in case there may be very meticulous and fussy people who are reading these reviews. * They only put two small shampoos which I finished in two days. The remaining two days they didn't put new shampoo bottles. Well, I had my own shampoo as well, so that didn't affect me but this may affect the people who don't carry shampoo while traveling. And a 4 star hotel should replace shampoos when they are finished.

Excellent location. Just 5 minutes walk to the center, yet in a quiet street so I slept like a baby. The bed was comfortable. The room had both air conditioning and a ceiling fan which made the room like heaven after coming back from a very hot and humid weather outside. The best thing about this hotel was probably having a private parking place which had a lock, therefore it was safe for your car. Even though the staff at the reception didn't speak much English, they were very helpful in terms of recommending restaurants, finding a laundry, helping to open the big locked door of the parking place....etc.

The bed is of very good quality The kindness and professionalism of the receptionist I wasn't feeling very well when I arrived due to extreme heat and the nice welcome with a smile was so much appreciated. Keep on doing the good work! Thanks Very well situated close to the square, 5 min walk but still away from the noise. I also walked 15 min to the cenote A café next door for breakfast etc with a friendly staff I definitely recommend Hotel Real Colonial. Price/quality!
