Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

MexicoMy room didn’t have a window which they didn’t show in the description. Room didn’t feel clean. I saw a lot of hair and some trash. Also the reservation didn’t require prepayment but they charged the full amount to my debit card that I used to hold the reservation even though I needed to pay with a different credit card at the property. They said they can’t change the form of the payment which doesn’t make sense at all.

United StatesNothing! Great place that I would recommend to anyone visiting San Miguel de Allende.
The hotel is absolutely delightful. We fleed away from a horrible Airbnb listing nearby at midnight and booked this place in a rush. The check in was smooth and we got a very comfortable room with excellent AC (a must in May in the area) and very clean bathroom. The location is excellent that you can walk to major sites in 5-10 minutes. The hotel is nicely decorated. I cannot recommend more about the staff. Everyone is helpful and patient. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this hotel.

United StatesWhen we arrived, it was chaos. The building is sort of hidden. We called three times (they didn’t answer twice? with a native Spanish speaker (the staff only spoke Spanish) and it was still confusing. They gave us unclear instructions on where to put the car. while we waited for them, police pulled up with sirens because of where they told us to park. Then we went in and they had switched the room. They claimed it was an upgrade, but they switched our building as well, so we’re shuttling back and forth between buildings. we ask for the one we booked, which has photos of a terrace and a “terrace” in the name with hammocks. There wasn’t any, and it looks like they are disorganized and maybe intentionally put misleading photos in particular room’s description. Finally we just go with whatever switch they wanted us to do, a little shaken with all the chaos. They say, a little apologetically, that they can take the car for us and give a one free drink coupon, which I considered to be a nice gesture. they appear to be new owners of a property they renamed. Either that, or they renamed the hotel to reset their poor reviews. The room was nicely decorated. However it was directly on a noisy intersection facing a church. they said it would quiet down after 9pm because they close the street, assuring us it would be “muy tranquilo”. you can see where this is going. Fast forward to 2am, it’s still extremely loud, and we don’t sleep well. The street was not closed. Because the town was very busy with bookings when we went, we decided to stay one more night because we though that if we get our earplugs from the car, it could be alright. We waited for them to retrieve our car, as we don’t know where they parked it. They said they would just charge the same rate as the night before. I checked my credit card later and they had charged an extra $23. We arrive to the hotel later that day, and there was no additional water.
The room’s interior was beautiful, but that was likely inherited from the previous owner of the hotel. the new staff were rude and disorganized. The arrival started off terribly, but we thought the staff had learned how to respect their guests afterwards. Turns out no…
