Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaMore expensive when I walked in and asked for a room and didn’t do any discounts. Safe was locked already and no instructions how to fix or use it.
The room was spacious, comfy beds and good size bathroom. The building was heritage like. I couldn’t hear any noises from guests or outside. Safe didn’t work but I was only staying one night so that didn’t matter. Within walking distance to the plaza and Colibrí Cafe which I loved.

United StatesWifi in the rooms is slow. No vending machines and upgrade business center. Have bilingual staff. I don't see any need for hotel front desk staff needing a face diaper.
Wonderful. Walking distance to some of the best restaurants. Easy access to other hot spots inside the classical section of the city. Onsite helpful staff exceptionally good great at instructions. There is an on site restaurant serving traditional Mexican dishes take cards and cash. Hotel has access to taxi transportation save secure location.

United StatesThe wifi didn't work in the room. But, the building is over 150 years old, the walls weren't made for passing wifi signals.
Loved that it was pet friendly with no additional fees. The location is central and a great stopover on the way to/from the border. The staff was friendly and helpful, good restaurant, a parking lot across the street with security, good size room with the basics.

United StatesThe hotel is run down and very poorly kept. There is noise from tenants all night long and smoking going on. Running toilets all day, clogged showers that smell bad. They take the towels away in the morning and don't give you another till after 3 pm. I had to share one with my wife they would not give us two.
The hotel was close to everything very central. The food in the restaurant is very good.

CanadaNecessity of crossing a busy highway to get to and from parking. Not the cleanest place. A lot of the hotel is unused and not maintained. The secure wifi barely had a signal and was unusable. OK signal with the open wifi. To get from the front door (after crossing the highway) to the room seemed like a major trek. A lot of this could be resolved if the bridge between the parking structure and the hotel was open. Wouldn't have to dodge traffic and would cut down on the distance to the room.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Accepted pets. We needed to stay in Hermosillo and not much to choose from accepting pets. Secure parking with watchman 24/7.

United StatesThe chemical and mold smell in the room was intense. We also had a room that faced the very busy street and traffic started at 4:00 am so beware when booking and make sure to ask for one that isn't on the major road.
The breakfast was great and there were excellent restaurants and attractions all within walking distance.

United StatesThe pillows are hard as a rock,so is the bed. The blanket seems to be made of plastic, very thin and it just makes you sweat. When we arrived, the staff at the front desk was laughing and talking among them. This was very rude and uncomfortable. But I guess you get what you pay for.
We enjoyed the location. Close to the cathedral where we found an excellent brewery. Also, on the plaza we found Mexican writers ✍️. We bought some books and the authors were there to sign them. That was amazing 🤩

United StatesFront desk agent charged my card after I had already paid through a third party. After I told her, she did give me my refund but in cash. I feel that she wasn’t paying attention to what she was doing when she charged me because she was conversating with other people while she was helping me.

United StatesThey tried to put me in a small room instead of a 30m suite, saying the hotel was full. They found a suite for me after I demanded price adjustment. I saw a cockroach in the room! The workers are painting the walls in the hotel, it smells of paint. Parking under reconstruction. The included breakfast consists of toast with jam and coffee and fruits, I wouldn't call it breakfast.
Historical building with an interesting interior. Close to the center.
