It's a lovely little place, off the main road, very tranquil. Close to shopping and plaza, up a short steep-ish hill. Nice clean cool pool with lounge chairs. Good restaurant reasonably priced. Includes free continental breakfast. Simple room, nice shower, very clean. No tv. Staff is super kind, like most Mexicans. I was there to hike, and during rainy season when everything is green, it's a great destination.

This little hotel is quiet, peaceful and beautiful. Our big room had its own little terrace with garden views. The beds were very comfortable and there was AC and a fan to keep us cool. The swimming pool was lovely; a perfect temperature, with nice lounge chairs a good towels provided. The simple continental breakfast (which was included) was delicious: fresh local fruit, yogurt, homemade granola, fresh squeezed juice, coffee. There was a menu if you wished to order more food. The plants, mosaics, fountains, statues, all made for a tranquil and pretty location to relax and unwind. We loved the views from the rooftop terrace. Storing our luggage before and after our stay was easy. It is a short walk to the center of town, but in a quieter neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle. This hotel was our favorite place to stay of our 10 day trip to Mexico City and environs. The staff helped us order a taxi to the bus station.

It’s an older hotel so they still do everything by paper. They didn’t have my information when I checked in. They still write out all the final receipts and etc which may be an issue if you are trying to claim it back with travel insurance.

Very charming and peaceful property. Friendly staff and best part was the yoga classes. The teacher was amazing.

The only minor suggestion is that the complimentary breakfast started at 9am which was a bit late for what we're used to.

The staff are all very warm, welcoming and helpful. The pool was such a treat, too. The place and our room were very clean. They topped off our water container everyday which was very convenient.

We had a great stay. The room was big, comfortable and clean and the pool nice when it got hot. Staff were very friendly and breakfast was tasty. Easy walk to the centre of town but nestled away enough to feel very peaceful.

We were so lucky to choose Hotel Teocalli. It's in a perfect location: just a short walk to restaurants, bars. shops in the town centre. The grounds are truly delightful: a lush, green oasis with beautiful tiled pathways and sparkling fountains. Our room was lovely: spacious, gracefully decorated and very clean. We spent one long afternoon lounging in the sun and enjoying the pool as the friendly the staff brought us delicious snacks and drinks. Great breakfasts too, and healthy! Everyone we met at Hotel Teocalli was super friendly and welcoming. We will definitely go back! Highly recommended.

Very tranquil and positive space. Great team and lovely owner, they really care about the vibe there Nice pool, clean rooms, great location, good coffee on the morning, bonus was yoga classes in the morning and evening. Very lovely memories from there!

Well, as I said, the hot water problem. But it got resolved. It might have been nice if our host had maybe offered us a breakfast for our trouble. But really, not an big deal.

Our host was always present and helpful. Our first night we had no hot water but the issue was resolved by the next morning.

We loved our balcony overlooking the lush gardens of the hotel. The lounging area around the pool was also lovely. Our room was spacious, very comfortable and sparkling clean. The meals were delicious.
