Very nice historical building with large comfortable rooms. Staff always available to help. Position is great just 15 mins walking to the city centre. Easy free parking in the street with option for private parking at a cheap price. Nice swimming pool in the patio. Very good breakfast. Overall pleasant stay with a good quality price ratio

Breakfast could be served a bit earlier than 8 - in the summer Mérida gets very hot very fast, I guess there are others, too, who might want to get up early.

Super friendly checkin and other staff, they were finishing some remodeling work in the unit next door. When I asked what hours the construction would take place, they said, "when you are not around", so accommodating. Great location, 10 min walk to the main plaza and the market.

Nothing. It is about a 10+ minute walk to the centre, but it does state this, so not an issue.

All of the staff are so warm, friendly and helpful. I enjoyed having lengthy chats with them all every day, they made me feel so comfortable and welcome ☺️. Breakfast was fantastic and different every day. Strong coffee pods, tea and filtered water available whenever you want it, along with snack bowl which had various treats. A shared fridge by the pool is available if required. The property was spotlessly clean and housekeeping is available if you want it. Also, security is excellent.

Would have been nice to have more screens in windows, wonderful breeze and cool nights, A/C works great if you need it.

Such a Classy place, so nice. Wonderful people working there everyone so helpful & friendly. They treat you like family, glad to see your visiting. Breakfast was so delicious with plenty and several choices. You felt like royalty with the formal dining room, settings & china. Always quiet and peaceful. Room clean and comfortable, access to freezer and refrigerator if needed. Free snacks along with homemade cake to enjoy along with coffee and teas and filtered water in dining area.

Didn’t love the mosquitoes quite as much!

Gracela ( such a warm, caring, well-informed woman with a great sense of humour ) and her fantastic team were attentive, helpful and responded graciously to any request. The breakfasts were delicious. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The location is great, easy to get around on foot, easy to park our rental car outside, felt safe walking around at night.

One of the rooms (the one with the kitchen) faces the street, which is rather noisy early in the morning. Happily, they changed us to an interior room facing the pool, which was perfect!!

Although it was dealt with as soon as I pointed it out, it slightly put me off the place. When we arrived the bed looked slept in, (this is because they do not iron the bedlinen which I think is unacceptable for the price) so I picked up a pillow and it had dried blood on it on both sides, and a hair on the bottom sheet. I asked for the bed to be changed, but on return to our room later, there was still a hair left on the bottom sheet in another area, and we found that they don’t use pillow protectors, or pillow case inners, so it’s just a thin pillow case covering the bare pillow. I took off a pillow case and doubled mine up, to create more of a barrier between my face and the pillow stuffing. I did mention this to staff on checking out, as personally I don’t think it is hygienic to not have pillow protectors (they did have a mattress protector/topper). I haven’t found this anywhere else I have stayed. It’s a shame because it is otherwise very comfortable. I hope they bring this in as standard along with pressing the sheets, so you aren’t sleeping on wrinkled pillow cases, which at my age transfers to my face so you wake up with creases on your cheeks!

The rooms are lovely with nice decor, high ceilings, great bathrooms and the bed large and comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful. All guests shared a table for breakfast which was lovely, chatting and sharing stories. The location is good, with great restaurants and bars within five minutes walk.

Every street in Merida was busy and our street was no different. Thankfully, the road noise calmed down by 11pm.

The room was HUGE! Loved the bed. The kitchen was very helpful. The staff was lovely. Plenty of room for our clothing. The location was a little further from the center of town, but not really bad at all. Lots of restaurants close by.

Friendly staff. Beautiful calming decor with eclectic touches such as en-suite jungle! Good vegan breakfast. Walking distance to sights, shopping and restaurants.
