Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Bed against the wall and not a lot of natural light. The bed was too firm for me.
The room was clean and in a great location, close to the restaurants and bus station. There was a well equiped shared kitchenette.

Would have been nice to have some more natural light. The room was quite dark as the only window was to the little porch which was closed in.

The thing is that you are sharing a house with more guests. If you are "lucky" and some noisy guests are staying at the same time, you will hear literally everything and it can sometimes be a bit disturbing.
It was really clean, spacious and well located. It looks way better than in the pictures. I would definitely stay again. I was able to check in earlier, and the lady showed me everything and recommended things to do during my stay.

It was a very clean, well located and quiet property with lots of nice touches including sachets of the famous BOH tea. The bed was comfortable and the shower lovely and hot. The property was let down a little by lack of general maintenance. The towel rack in the bathroom was falling off the wall, the shower head was broken and difficult to keep in place when showering, the water in the sink squirted everywhere when turned to hot ( the left) and the windows at the rear of the room did not close which meant the room was not secure. Not huge issues, but they could be easily fixed to make guests more comfortable.

No aircon, just fan. But in the highlands you probably do not need aircon…
Nice little place with everything you need, a small common area/kitchen and outdoor patio. Great hot shower.

The room wasn't the cleanest. There were stains on the bed and a few ants around the room/bathroom. There's no reception, so you have to message the owner to get them to let you in when you first check in, and if you want to store your luggage before you leave. We didn't really get any information about local trails/ things to do, but we did eventually find a book which had some information.
Good location, close to restaurants/shops/bus station. The rooms are spacious and there are only 3, so it's very chill.

It’s a cosy place in a quiet side street. There’s a small kitchen and you can sit outside. The room was big and comfortable. We would come back.

Noone was there when we turned up, but they came right away when we messaged.
Spacious room with tall ceilings. Good location in the main town. Very comfortable bed and nice bathroom. There is a nice common living area downstairs with sofa and kitchenette. All is very clean. Lots of information provided on walks, tours and transport in the area. Would recommend this to anyone.

Our shower was never more than luke warm no matter how long we left the water switch on. The bed was quite uncomfortable and the walls are thin so if other guest aren’t considerate you will be woken by them.
Ideal location right in the centre of Tanah Rata, lots of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. The room was spacious and clean, same with the communal areas. Had some issues with the shower but within minutes someone was there to assist

A bit musty... Well, it rains a lot in CH!
The place is cosy and comfortable, in a great location - close to the bus station, two waterfalls and several Jungle Walking Trails.

It would be good to have a couple more items to use in the kitchen, there were no drinking glasses, only 2 mugs. The window in my room was tucked around a corner meaning the room was very dark and got very little light.
The location was great and the living area was a lovely, clean space. The kitchen area was good although very simple.

A little regret because TV broadcasting was not availabe in spite of the Olympic period. (Internet programmes were available)

TV not functional. And fan in bedroom room is noisy. Construction also on-going in neighbour house, expect drilling noise throughout the day.
Big spacious house, only no kitchen for cooking. There is a microwave and kettle only. For couples, not for families .

Everything was good
A really comfortable stay, made us feel at home. They provide coffee and tea 24/7 and you're able to use the house shared with few more rooms. The place is clean with comfortable rooms. The owners were really friendly.
